About Me:
Life was good to me as a kid. It was better than most, worse than a few. But all in all, it was fine. I got fat in the fourth grade. My parents had split and I went to live with my mom for a few years. She wasnt the healthiest mom on the block. My dad on the other hand was a runner. Fat, oops, I mean fast forwarding to adulthood. I joined the Navy and came out of boot camp the best I have ever looked. I weighed in at about 155 and was toned and fabulous. However, McDonalds was right across from where I lived so that didn't last long. I have a VERY unhealthy relationship with food. I want to change that. Since the Navy, I have gotten married, had babies, three of them, and been fat and less fat, but always overweight.
My loving husband had always been very supporting of me and I am very blessed to have the family support that I have. Diets have not worked so this needs to be a life change. I need to change for myself, for my children, and for the life that I still have left to live.
I feel like I am inside here, somewhere, smothering to death from the weight of all of this, well, weight.
Someday, the outside of me will reflect who I truly am. And I look forward to seeing her again.

oh boy.

no running for 2 weeks + halloween + no self control = weight gain.

getting back to journaling.

paying attention to portion sizes.

ONLY eating when hungry.

eating good foods, not snacky foods.

wow...i didn't realize it's been so long

a few weeks....and i even come on here to read what everyone else is doing, but i don't blog. i think that's part of my problem. I haven't gained weight, not really. I've just been in a state of flux. 189-192. pretty steady. I didn't work out for about ten days....babysitter is gone, running partner on vacation, kids getting sick...you know, the same 'ol same 'ol. however, last night I went to a new class. Gosh you look sooooo awesome Mary! Every time I see you, you are "halved" once again! That's just AWESOME! Good for you, gal, seriously... that takes such hard work and you are doing a great job! You are such a great example for your kiddos! I'm just so proud of you.......

Thanks for the comment! Henry is really cute, and very mild tempered--makes him even cuter. He had to have his heels pricked about 8 times when he had jaundice, and he didn't cry once. craziness... let's hope he stays mellow :~)
