Hi Heather! Thanks for that comment on my latest blog post - I was having a really hard day and reading that post really made me fell better :) I hope you are doing great!
Hi Heather! Thanks for checking up on me :) I am struggling big time. It's getting sooo close to Christmas and I am sooo homesick the only thing I seem to find to make myself feel better is food - it's not good. I just don't know how to get back on track...I hope everything is going alright with you :)
Thanks, Heather! I really needed your comment this morning. I keep having to remind myself that I'd be ok with maintaining/minimal losses for a little while. Storing that mental energy for the next big push.
Hey Heather. Thanks for checking in. Kansas was fun. I actually did pretty good while I was there. It started on the way home. Just having to eat out traveling and than coming home to no food in the house so we ate out again. Anyway, there's always something. I just have to find it in me to not mess up just because. I didn't weigh in this week and hopefully it won't be that bad on Monday. It looks like you had a great Thanksgiving. Good for you for running that far. Maybe, if we stay home next year I can find something like that to do. I bet it keeps you more focused. I'm trying to stay positive and not slide back because of one bad week. Just have to keep going. Thanks for checking. Have a good week.
It was officially a 1.6 gain. I'm still in the mid 170's...as I wanted to be. I'm not horribly stressed b/c I know I didn't do anything to make that happen. I also know what to do to make it go back the other way. I just need patience and time...and I think I've got those two things somewhere!
Thank you again for your kind words. If I write that same statement again a hundred times in your comments, it probably won't ever be enough.

Heather - when you have met your goals...go be a life coach! I bet you would be great at that!
Thanks for the support. I can tell today will be better already! I hope this week is a good one for you and congrats on getting back there and exercising again so soon!
Hi Heather! Just checking in with you. Hope all is well and that you're taking it easy. Take care. :-D

Thank you for checking in! No, my knee is not better. :( My goal for this weekend is to stay off of it as much as possible, and use the ICE method so that hopefully it will be ready for the race. It seems to be fine if I'm moving, it's just when I stop that it gets me. Sounds like you have a very successful weekend planned. Mine probably will be rough, my best friend is moving to Florida and this is the last weekend we are both in town. We had a girls night last night, Saturday night is her going away party, etc. We are notorious for the amount we can drink together...I'll get it back in check, at least until Thursday after the race, but I'll get it back in check again. We got this Heather. :) Take it easy this weekend...don't push yourself with your bum head. :p I joke becuase I heart you. Happy Friday. :)
Yeah with rest - it's already feeling much better and it's not swelling, I just don't want to push it. I will probably ease back into it in a day or two. I would rather not use it and be able to run on Thursday (even if it is slow) than not be able to run at the Gobbler. :)
FANTASTIC trip! I did wake up with fluid around my knee on Saturday - kinda is curtailing the training for awhile. :/ Yeah, Boo PA football teams! How was your birthday weekend?!
Such a small world. I remember Gloucester. My close friend moved to Chesterfield about 2 years or so ago. My birthday is on the 29th. Wish it was the same feeling about birthdays that we had when we were little. I guess it's better than the alternative. Have a good night.
Heather I had a great time last night and I did very well for me. A salad at dinner with fat free ranch and I had my 2 glasses of wine and stopped. That's huge for me. And I bought myself a birthday present. Hey I was reading one of your post about your run by the James River. Do you live near Richmond VA? My husband and I lived in Mechanisville, VA about five years ago. We move around a lot and I have to say VA is my favorite place so far. Maybe one day we can get back there. I just loved it.
Sorry you had a rough week last week, Heather! Just remember: that week is over, and it has no effect on this week. You go, do your thing, and be healthy!
