Weekend Successes and Accomplishments for the week.

Many of you know how worried I was about being out of town for the weekend, but let me just say it was a success! Talking with the husband and the in-laws about my goals was very helpful and prevented a lot (not all) sabotaging from occurring. The snacks I packed also helped. My daily calorie goals are (1600-1900) and I stayed within those goals except one day, where I went over to 2300. But, I also exercised more that day, so I'm good.

Also, since I am no longer weighing in, here are my accomplishments for the week (06/29-07/06):
1. Ate every 3-4 hours
2. Did not eat after 7 pm (really helps in waking up, see previous post)
3. Packed meals to go
4. Worked out every day including in a hotel on my own (except weekends)
5. increased organics and veggies to diet
6. increased milk consumption
7. incorporated strength training into daily exercise.
8. hiked up a crater!
9. did not consumer alcohol
10. Did not let my guard down against my mother-in-law who pretty much offered me the whole kitchen to eat.
11. Came up with a Credo for my life... see next post!

Yay me!

Wow, those are some HUGE accomplishments! I'm hoping to implement some of those strategies when I go camping this weekend. You rock!

I'm glad you had a successful trip. It's always so hard to stay on plan away from home. You did great!

Great accomplishments! I find it so inspiring that you're not weighing, but instead focusing on the healthy changes you're making! I'm trying to get away from the scale and maybe something similar will help for me - thanks for the idea :)
