Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

So I have recently found two new obsession: Oikos Greek Yogurt and drinking only water. Ok ok..."drinking only water" isn't really a "thing" that you can be obsessed with, but the way my body has felt over the past few days is!! I used to always only drink coffee in the morning and water for the rest of the day. I was never a juice or soda person, but when I was younger I was addicted to sweet tea. Well when I decided to lose weight I had to kick the sugar/calorie loaded drink to the curb and replaced it with...da dom..da dom...DIET COKE (ahhhh!!). So my sweet tea obsession went to a diet coke obsession, which in the grand scheme of things is probably much worse for my health. Anywho....I have recently decided to kick all artificial sweeteners to curb as! It has been sort of hard, but I have felt so much better everyday! Soo...that is why I picked up Oikos Greek Yogurt, because it is not made with artificial sweeteners. It is still only 100 calories and it is so creamy and filled with protein...I am in love! Anyway, just thought I would share this with yall. Do you have any new obsessions that I should try?? Or are any of you trying to say goodbye to Diet Coke and struggling? Let me know!! Have a wonderful day!

You should try Cascade Farms Active8 yogurt if you can find it (they only have it at Whole Foods here, but some places its more common) it comes in flavors and is only sweetened with fruit juice! i love the Apple

I love the Okios honey flavor with some natural peanut butter swirled in it.

Lately I have become obsessed with salsa. I put it on salads and even on my low fat cottage cheese. (Weird, I know.)

I have tried many times to kick my diet soda addiction. The best I can do consistently is to limit myself to one a day. And I have the rule that for every soda I drink, I follow it with an equal amount of water.

I, like you, used to only drink water--for years. But then when I started WW, Diet Coke became something sweet/filling that was zero points. I know, I know--zero points does not equal healthy! I wouldn't say I'm addicted at all, but I do enjoy a soda from time to time. Mostly when I eat at chick fil a because for some reason their Diet Dr. Pepper just tastes so good!

I have never tried Greek Yogurt but have heard SO much about it! I'm putting it on my list of things to try! I desperately need to curb my Diet Coke addiction as well. I am starting by limiting myself to 2 cans per day. And eventually will go down to 1. Not comfortable saying I'll give it up cold turkey yet though! :) lol

Nope! I actually bought mine at Wal-Mart as weird as that sounds haha. But I know you can get them at most grocery stores.
