So I woke up this morning knowing the day would be long (finishing writing a report that's been nothing but problems. Excel spreadsheets and I are not friends anymore.). I also realized I gained this week....
BUT...
I DIDN'T LET THAT STOP ME!
Instead, I:
- stayed within my calories (bit high on sugar, but nothing unmanageable)
- put in 4.4 miles at the gym
The feeling I have right now is FAR better than any I could have gotten from sitting on the couch with french fries I picked up on my way home. I'm energized and ready to tackle more schoolwork. I got in a GREAT workout. I upped my personal longest consecutive run to 1.2 miles (from 1.0 last week) and jogged a total of 2.6 of the 4.4 miles.
All I can say...
Take that emotional eating. I kicked your a** today. :-)
