Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

OK, let me first say I LOATHE excuses. I really do.

I'm sure you noticed (at least I hope you have) my pushup/sit-up/ squat challenge fell to the waist side.

I really thought I would be able to keep it up while moving but I was mistaken. I can barely find time to run, blog, or sleep for that matter.

I realize I just gave you an excuse.

*sigh*

Part of me feels like I've let you guys down BUT I think it's important to recognize when you have done what you can.... WITHOUT GUILT.

My plan is to pick back up where I left off, week 2, after I get settled and after the marathon I'm running in two weeks. I want to focus the little time I have to workout, on that.

But what about you guys? Updates? Where are you in the challenge?

Roni, I'm impressed with the boy pushups. How many can you do?

Fanchy - I do boy pushups until I can't do any more. Then I go to my knees.

I am just starting Week Four today, as soon as I get around to making myself do that workout :D I have been loving it though because I never thought I could be the girl who had any upper body strength ever! My last workout was Saturday and I was able to do the 22, 30, 20, 20 reps and finish off with 40 for my final "max possible" rep!

I started a running program the same week as I was going to start this challenge and this one fell to the wayside for me. My question is, which push up are you doing? Traditional or knee? I started on my toes, but my wrists are killing me. Thinking of switching to the 'girly' push ups and then redoing the program traditional style.

I got through Day 2 of week 4 and left for vacation so this week I am gong to repeat Week 4. Push-ups are killing me - so are the squats actually. Looking forward to powering through these 3 weeks and seeing if I can make it.

I am starting week two tonight. So far so good. I finished week one Sat and really felt it yesterday, still feeling the squats today. I push ups are the hardest for me bu they are coming along.

I got through week 3, I struggled, had to give up the Squats part due to knee issues and then I got the flu. So, I finished week 3 on 9/17 and last week thought being off the couch was a work out. I'm hoping to pick it back up later this week (since I am stillrecovering) and I will restart on week 3.
