Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Hmm...don't always love my body, don't always care for it for that matter either, but dang it the darn thing still cares for me! I guess I need to work on the loving and caring part on my end of the deal. Otherwise it may not always be there for me.

I need to recommit myself, which is now becoming a weekly thing. My weekends are getting WAY out of control. I am always finding an "occassion" in which I think it is okay to go overboard. It might be fine every once in a great while...but EVERY weekend, Multiple times....I don't think so. So I now know where my problems lie and I am going to fix them. I think the weekdays are easier just because they are more structured and planned with work and all, and the weekends are just free and open. So here we go....better decisions from here on out.

I'm the same way, finding any excuse to "celebrate" or "indulge." Consequently, the scale is not behaving the way I want it to — the way I expect, probably. But not the way I want. To get what I want, I'm going to have to change the status quo.

Hey you! I was out for a walk today and thought of that same thing (about loving your body). I started to feel really thankful that I HAVE a body, a strong body, that can take me on walks, do yoga, things like that. It might not be my vision of perfect, but until I actually appreciate it for what it is, right at this minute, how can I ever expect to actually like it? I'm a deep thinker today :)

I use pumpkin on everything, I admit. I'm a nut. I use it in my oatmeal almost every morning (just stir in like 1/2 cup and then add pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon), I put it in my yogurt, on top of my cold cereal... oh the list goes on!
