as i've been incredibly busy the past 5 months or so, on logging on for me, though i've been reading roni's main blog on the occasion. so here i am--with the holidays over hoping to have a little more freetime.
and as i've noticed that i've "put on a few" over the last month or two, it's time to break out the exercising. i don't really eat poorly--though i admit i have a terrible addiction to doritos, and have since made a deal with the husband to no longer purchase said dreaded chips--but all attempts at activity have really ceased since making the big move out to the sidewalk-poor suburbs. now i just take the car. bleh. i moved a bicycle into the living room over thanksgiving and just finally used it this morning for the first time since then...needless to say, i discovered what poor shape i actually am in. i was pooped after just barely 10 minutes, but pushed myself to 30. sad sad sad. especially since i used to ride quite a bit. but 10 minutes? urgh.
i don't really need to lose much, and honestly, i'm not exactly sure how much i weigh--i get different readings on my scale, the wii fit, the doctors office, and the hospital's gym. i mean, everything is close--within 5 or 7 lbs or so, but when i'm just wanting to shave off just 5-7 or 8 lbs, then that sort of makes a difference (i've noticed my pants all getting more snug).
