OMG I cant' believe it's been over a week and a half since I've been on. I'm alive and kicking, just busy and overwhelmed. And as I look back, I have nothing EXCITING to report.
Last Thursday (9/25) I went to ww for a wi and was pleasantly surprised; I lost 1 pound for a total of 106lbs. Friday (9/26) was my bday and it was the worst bday ever!! Work was just horrible and nothing was going right. My dd hurt her foot really bad (while home with the dh - things always happen on his watch!!) and was freaking out so bad I couldn't leave her with my sister. So we didn't go out for my bday. I ended up watching Sex and the City, having an adult beverage and eating a piece of tiramisu from the Olive Gargen by myself. Then on Saturday I got deathly sick with a stomach flu and was in bed until Sunday night. So much for my bday weekend!!!!
A couple blogs ago, I mentioned my dd and her weight increase. Well my worst fears came true this past Tuesday when both kids had drs appointments. My dd just turned 5 and she gained 16 lbs in one year plus grew 5 inches (she now weights 66lbs.and she's 4 feet tall). The doctor told me cut out the junk and she needs to move more. I am determined to get her to eat better and move more!!! I dont' want my dd to struggle like I have but at the same time I don't want either one of us to get obsessive over it. I NEVER discuss this with her or talk about it in front of her. She never says anything about it and is happy as can be!!! But she needs to eat better!!! Wish me luck on that front!! Oh by the way, ds did great. Both kids got shots; her 4 and him 3. Thank goodness my mil came with me!!
Overall this week I'm ok foodwise. It's been difficult with my work schedule plus bday parties (dd had two this week plus another one this Sunday!!!) My goals for this week is to get back to keeping track of my points and increasing my water intake. I have no idea what happened to me; prior to my weight loss, I hardly ever drank soda. If I did it was caf free. Now I can't get enough of regular diet. I have to stop!! So more water please!!!
