Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Well my WI on Thursday was pretty good. Once I hit my ultimate goal, the following week I put on 2 pounds, which was frustrating. With my grandmother's death and my crazy work schedule I hadn't been back. Well when I went on Thursday, I lost 1.2 pounds and was very happy. Like I said in my previous post, with the funeral and all, I was aware of my food intake but not crazy about it either. So I did good!

I'm still trying to get back in the groove of things after the funeral and with work. The job is getting extremely crazy and I'm hating every minute of it. I so desperately want to be in a school district instead of the world of humas services. Unfortunately, the financial gods and I are NOT on the same page these days and I still don't have money to take my state certification tests.

Speaking of not having money, my dd's 5th bday party is next weekend. I ALWAYS have huge parties but this year we can't. So to make up for it, we are having just a few friends and family. However, it's a slumber party! Oh my goodness, give me the ability to get through it!! Hopefully they will all have a great time and that's what counts!! Everyday is special with my kids, but because I fought so hard to get them (fertility issues) I love to make a huge fuss on their bdays.

I really didn't do too much today. It's a rainy, muggy day here in NEPA and I have a massive headache. I felt bad; I napped for almost 2 hours (the baby was napping too) and the husband was trying to do things wih the almost 5 year old running around. We did go and get my mini van fixed (needed new breaks and an inspection) which I am thrilled about. I was using dh car b.c I drive so much for my job and I didn't want anything to happen. AND I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!! I'm a mad mom in a mini van and I love it!!

Ok, gotta go. I have to make a list for the store when the dh is done taping his crazy podcast. Hope everyone has a great Saturday night.
Later.

My best birthday parties were slumber parties. I remember them so fondly. I'm sure your DD will love it! Congrats on your loss, that's awesome considering the stress you have been under. I hope that gets better for ya.

I'm sure she'll still have fun on her b-day even if it's a small affair. Some times the simple things are the most fun anyway.
