Temptation Avoided

As a teacher, there are always temptations EVERYWHERE! The candy jar in the office, the leftover cupcakes and cookies from events, birthday celebrations. Today one of my students brought me a cupcake because it was her birthday. It looked and smelled delicious. I picked it up, smelled it, said thank you--and then once she left the room I threw it away! Woo-hoo! This is huge for me. I love sweets and felt all of the "excuses" of why I should eat it starting to creep in. I even had to make sure that it went all the way to the bottom of the trashcan so I wouldn't be tempted to dig it out. Haha. Don't judge, I really love my sweets!
