No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

So, I didn't blog my planned menu for today, but I did log it in my WW food tracker, so I did have a plan. Unfortunately, it all went out the window when my boss took us out to lunch. The lunch itself wasn't so horrible, but I totally got into the "well, the day's blown anyway, what's the point of being good now?" mentality. So I ate dessert, and then some cookies back at the office. But it could have been worse - I ate my planned healthy dinner, and I tracked all my indiscressions and as best as I can tell I'm still within my 35 flex points. So the day wasn't an all out free-for all, I reigned it back in and am right back on track for tomorrow.

tomorrow (day 4) plan:

breakfast: 1 c peaches (I ran out of cereal today) - 1

morning snack: yogurt - 2

lunch: if it's up to me, italian wedding soup - 4
if it's lunch out with the coworkers again, just be reasonable and you can adjust dinner accordingly

afternoon snack and dinner - have to be flexible according to how lunch goes. if you were able to have your healthy lunch, your dinner options are wide open. if you spent most of your points on lunch, react accordingly: you have a low points soup and several fruits and vegetables around. as long as you don't just go nuts at lunch, you'll be able to find a way to finish the day off on plan.

Way to recover quickly. It feels so good to jump right back up on the horse, doesn't it?

Results: Today went great. I was able to eat my own lunch, and even had enough points at dinner to have some pumpkin ice cream!! Treats are so good when they're earned and planned for and savored...
