I only have a minute because I have to go get in the shower & get ready to volunteer at Olivia's school. Every Friday I go & help with reading workshop for 1 hour & then I read the the kids. Ok it's time to blog!!!

My weight has crept up yet again. I'm ready to take full action and turn this around! I'm not wanting to have to repeat this whole entire process. This is such a hard time of year, which is why I need to get going in the right direction! I'm sitting here doing Cyber Monday shopping & I'm looking at nike+ and an ipod to help motivate me. Not sure

My weight stayed the same this week as I guess it should have. I began the week off all pumped up & ready to conquer the world. But as the days unfolded I didn't do as much as I could have. Coconut Curry Butternut Squash Soup Recipe

Since Maren asked for this recipe, I figured I'd just post it to share with everyone : ) I halve & remove seeds from 2 good sized butternut squashes, & roast them in the oven cut side down in a little water until a fork pierces the soft flesh. 2. I can't believe how the support from all of you has really motivated me. I thank you for all visiting me & commenting on my last post it is so incredibly helpful to me & I truly appreciate it! Well I feel like I don't have much to say for myself! I have not been here in so long that I don't even know where to begin! I have been in this really bad funk, but I see a pattern because my last "hiatus" was at the same time of year but last year. Scott really thinks that I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder. Working my way back

Well I'm certainly noticing lots of old feelings coming back that have not visited me in a long time. I was going to say habits but really it's more of a feeling bringing on the habit. still a struggle

This month has been more of a struggle than not. One major concern was our dog Sophie was having trouble going up & down stairs out of the blue & was screaming out in pain in the form of a yelp. She even woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain like I have never heard her do in my life. I was really upset, & worried as was the rest of the family! To make matters worse the vet couldn't see her. So guess what I did I switched vets, they got her right in within a couple hour… Continue

Ahhh feeling much better!

I really appreciate all of the comments from my last post! I'm so grateful that I caught myself before things got too crazy! I've re-found my motivation, determination & I'm right back on track. Starting to slip with gym & clean eating! Help!

I maintained that is the good news!!! Ok, but this last week has been a tough one. It started off pretty good. I was following the eating that I have been. It was TOM & I felt like crap so I didn't go to the gym, not once! Bad I know, then on the weekend at work I started to eat basically whatever I wanted. I even ate a cookie! I maintained this week but still have a few to lose

I know these last few pounds are slow going. I have also not been spending enough time at the gym. I'm conscience of it though & because my kids only have a few more weeks home from school. WI 133.5 down another pound!!!

I feel really great & I'm so glad that I'm losing! I love how the positive spiral happens when things go well! I did great all week with the eating & I'm back on track for exercise. I packed all my food for work, & came home with some of it because it is so hard to get 6 meals in when I work a wedding. But I didn't eat wedding food or pick at anything other than my food. Just a little update post

I've stopped peeking at the scale this week! I feel like I'm used to the clean eating schedule & the time involved in all the food prep. This is so important because I worked almost everyday this week, & it is imperative that I bring my food with me to work! I have been doing really well with shopping, prepping & packing my cooler!!! Yesterday was awesome

I was so nervous about returning to the gym after taking 2 weeks of while we did day trips. I thought I'd be huffing & puffing & it was not the case at all. I was fine, I was so pumped & ready I think I put more effort into it than previously. I also added more strength to my routine. WI week 2 of clean eating

So this week I gained 1 pound but since last week I lost 2 I guess it is ok. I'm still down form what I was 2 weeks ago. Especially since I have not been to the gym in 2 weeks & I haven't run in over 1 week. I'm nervous about starting the exercise again, I think it is going to be that much harder. I lost 2 pounds this week!!! Can I hear a Woot! Woot!?

So although we are on vacation & I have not been to the gym in over a week & we tasted all sorts of amazing food in NY City, & I ate some white pasta at Scott's Grandma's house....I lost 2 pounds this week! More day trips & now I've read 3 of Tosca Reno's books

So since my last post we spent a day visiting my husbands grand parents, both sets in 1 day! It was really nice to see them & spend some time at each of their houses.
