Having a great day (so far)!

Woke up, made a yummy breakfast. I had oatmeal with a sliced apple and a dash of cinnamon, with some skim milk. I got on Livestrong.com to register and tracked my calories. So far I love the site! Whew! What a Whirl-Wind!

Warning: A bit Depressing

Done with Summer classes!

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. As of 10:30 a.m. today, I am officially done with summer classes! I am so relieved! I am proud to say that I've made Dean's List again. I definitely worked hard for that A in algebra! I will never have to take another math class again! Yessss:-) Now I can enjoy a two week break from school. Fall classes begin on the 29th. Weigh-In Results & Lose for Good

I maintained this week. I'm OKAY with that. I know it's better than a gain, but deep down I am kind of bummed. I mean, I was on plan all week. I earned well over 27 AP's, and used my flex points. This week I am going to keep the exercise up, but not use so many flex points. I guess I still need to play around with those and see what works for me. Why am I so tired this week?!

Ughhh is all I can say. I am SO exhausted! It's the end of the quarter at school. I have a math exam tomorrow which I am not prepared for, then next Wednesday is the comprehensive final. I am so ready to be done with summer classes. Then I will be able to enjoy a 2 week break before fall classes begin. Yay! I just feel like I haven't gotten any sleep. Up a pound, but I'm okay with that. I used all of my Flex Points and AP's plus some more (on healthy food at least!) Had a bit of a rough and emotional week, but I'm ready for a much better one! Midweek Update & Spinning

Quick update. I'm in between classes right now. Getting ready to take a spinning class. I missed my aqua fitness class, so I have to make it up in another. I love Spinning! I don't want the scale to rule my life

I woke up this morning and said to myself that I would not step on the scale. Last night I ate well. I used 15 of my flex points though..which is fine, but usually I spread them out more through the week. My dad made homemade salsa over the weekend, and I ate quite a few tortilla chips. It was definitely worth the points, and it's not like I went out and had Taco Bell (my trigger food). What did I do though?! I stepped on the scale and it was 1.1 more than it was Saturday. Weigh In Results!

My sister and I headed to the meeting today, not quite sure how we did. As you know, I've been pretty sick the last few days. I've had a wicked sore throat, and have been REALLY tired. I went to the doctor. They prescribed me a Z-pack and some syrup for cough/congestion. I'm feeling better. Still a little out of it and stuffy, but better than I was. Empowerment

I woke up late today. Did not sleep well at all last night. I didn't have time to take a shower. I felt so crummy. I was so tempted to skip my exercise class and sleep in then just go to math. Then I got to thinking about how much better I'd feel after that workout. So, I rolled out of bed, made a delicious breakfast, quickly got dressed and hit the road. Back to meetings! Hooray!

My sister and I used to go to meetings together. She and I both made our goal in 2006. She maintained for three years, but within the past year has put back on a little bit. I have been to meetings off and on since I made goal. I've went from 145 back up to 165-173. So, she and I sat down last night and decided to go to Saturday morning meetings. Math Exams

I get SO nervous the day of math exams. I am taking my last math class (FOREVER!) this quarter. It's Math 108, which is Algebra. The exam I had today consisted of 18 word problems. You know, the problems like "If Sue has $4.48 total in her purse, with one less five than ones, and two more ones that fives..blah blah blah" I DESPISE word problems. What the heck?!

Okay, here goes... I was having a great day! I ate a nice, healthy breakfast. Went to my exercise class and burned 268 calories. I also packed my lunch to eat in between classes. I got home around 1:30. Took a walk around 2:30. Walked for 40 minutes, and burned 297 calories according to my HRM. Ate some watermelon and drank some water. Super Sunday

I feel so productive today! I ended up sleeping in until 11:30. I rarely ever sleep in. I'm usually up around 7:00. I think my body needed it. I feel so refreshed! I made a nice breakfast. 2 multi-grain waffles with s/f syrup, blueberries, and skim milk. About an hour later I headed to the gym and got in a kick-butt workout. What a busy, but GREAT day!

The sun is shining. I woke up early and worked out. 425 calories burned. Considering I haven't been to the gym in a few days, I feel wonderful!
