So, I havent written in a while......my 15 month old daughter leaves me NO time to myself. waaa waaa, right :) anyhow, i feel great about my small results on ww. A small number....but a HUGE accomplishment. I have been going to ww now for three weeks. I have lost 6.2 pounds, but its SO much more than that. Since 2006, besides being pregnant, i have tried seriously over 20 times to go back on ww. Most times failed a day into it, two days, when the weekend came, or sometimes one meal threw me off.… Continue

what day is it anyways???

well, i cant say that i fell off the wagon completely. I have been as i would say, half azzing it. the past few days i have been tracking pts..and working out alot...but A has been up my butt. I really have NO time for myself. she is teething, plus going through separation anxiety. so in order for her not to scream, i have to be sitting right there with her. She has screamed so bad a few times at the Y to the point where they came and got me out of my work out. then if they dont come get me....i… Continue

Day 8 and one week under my belt......

ok, i just typed a big long paragraph and it got erased. GRRRR. today was weigh in day and i didnt lose anymore than the 3 pounds i blogged about on monday. it taught me not to weigh myself midweek because i was a little disappointed when i didnt lose anymore. if i would have just waited i would have been really happy for 3 pounds. especially since there are gonna be weeks when there is only a .5 loss or maybe a gain. im prepared...this isnt my first rodeo =)

another thing i learned was to read… Continue

I'm actually living in NY for now while my husband is deployed (it's where I'm originally from and my side of the family lives) but normally we live around the Wooster area. Where are you from?

Holly, there is hope! This is the second day that I've biked and I feel so much better than I did last week. I had energy this morning! I also watched what I put into my bod yesterday, I'm trying to lay low on things that have a ton of preservatives. I think they bog me down. Hope you're hanging in there :)

The point of the bracelet I think is two fold. One is a pretty visual reminder of your points and second is an actual points counter. There are enough beads for the total amount of WW points. I am allowed 22 points a day, so I just know that on my bracelet, I can eat all but 2 of the colored beads (even though there are other beads on there, I only track on the colored ones). Then there is a charm that dangles by a lobster claw clasp(I don't know what its really called) that you move and reclip after you eat points. I work in a setting where its not feasible to carry my journal and make marks, but in the last few days I have found that I have the time and ability to move the clip around the beads there for keeping me a bit more accountable then my memory! I found mine at LMBeadsDesign but I have no doubt there are others, besides if you make bracelets you could easily make it.

Oh I know those pains! I about died when they weighed me at the hospital when I gave birth to my second son--240. I always thought that once I had him, I'd go back to the previous weight (like the boy weighed 70#). I swear, I was delusional for 10 months! Anyway, I hurt too, low back, shoulders and my left hip. I'm down to 170--heading to 145. I still have a catch in my hip. I exercise, but I've decided the catch is genetic. The pain was probably weight related, the catch tho' is not. (both g'ma and mom have the same "catch"). Ok, so long story short--my rambling point was, the pain should lessen with each pound lost. You can do this--you carried and gave birth to a baby! This you can do! Hit the fiber to keep you feeling fuller, snack on veggies so you get the crunch and chewing without the calories, and have gum available so you can get the sweet without the calories too. You can do this! Good luck!
