good luck with everything before the wedding! I too got engaged back in january, and will be getting married this august! yikes! it is a lot of life changes...we won't be buying a house, but i'll be finishing up my M.S. and getting a job in my new field, so that will be a big change as well!

Thanx for the comment and actually I am only 5'2 When I look in the mirror i dont see 212lbs but its there and I dont know where. lol I wish I was taller. I think alot of my weight is my gut and boobs lol and what am i doing? well I do cardio everyday from 30mins-1hr and weight training 3 or 4 days a week.

Thanks for the comment, but, sigh, I ALREADY turned to comfort foods....darnit! We had burger king for lunch on sat (that was before i realized it was broken and just hurt) chinese for dinner, and the next day, dessert and pizza. That is what i get for not insisting that somebody cooks. So, today is a new day. And i am gonna need all the help I can get to not just eat take out!! THanks!

I am a 24 year old female who is in the midst of a bunch of change in life right now. I got engaged to my wonderful Fiance the beginning of this year, and we are closing on our first home in the beginning of June. I love most every aspect of my life right now, except the fact that even with a future wedding coming up, I struggle to keep the motivation to a healthier life style. We are getting married October 3, 2009 and I refuse to hate myself by that time!

Checking in Mid week

I havent gotten a lot of time this week to post my menus, but I promise I am tracking. I have been to the gym once so far this week, and plan on going atleast 2 more times, ideally three. The scale so far seems to be holding steady at the same weight, so I suppose I should throw in the extra day of working out.

We went to the gym Monday and I burned approximately 300 calories and did about 2.25 miles in 30 minutes on the elliptical. I am still tempted to possibly go to the gym tonight!

Official first weigh in

Sorry I have not posted for a few days, but I have kept track every day! I had a very successful week. I went to the gym 3 days for atleast 60 minutes everytime. One night, John and I went for a walk/jog. The results were successful. I weighed in at 189.2 which is a 1.8 lb loss. I was happy but at the same time kind of sad cuz on Friday I had done a scale check and say 188! But this is not a race! I will keep at it!

I also measured my inches for some motivation.

Sorry I didnt get a chance to post yesterday but I wrote everything down! I was excited because for what seems like forever, I have heard so many rave reviews of Vitamuffins but my grocery store never had them. Well they finally got the chocolate ones in stock and I have to say they are good, but not as good as I thought they would be! But it works for meeting a chocolate craving!

Feelin Thin Thursday!!

Haha corny title today I know, but I really do feel 'thinner' already. I have had 4 successful days under my belt, I have gone to the gym twice this week already and plan to go again tonight and probably Saturday, for a total of 4 times this week. I havent felt this motivated in a long time and its a great feeling.
