Hello

I'm looking forward enjoying participating here... I'd lost (and maintained all but 18 pounds of that loss) 75 pounds since November 2005, and am now tackling the last 40 (closer to 50, but starting fresh)... which is still a lot, but compared to the 101 pounds I was looking at when I started this thing... it's doable.

There are new challenges in this for me now. Different living arrangements, new stresses that I am learning to work with instead of turning to food. For instance, I've discovered just how much of a help exercise is, which is great!

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know people here, I've already found other member's blogs so helpful, and I hope to help and inspire others as I move further on in the journey as well. :-)

GOALS - A SPECIFIC BREAKDOWN

Note: lest you think the numbers I am aiming for are impossibly low, I just want to point out I am 4'11", medium-boned, and my healthy weight range from WW is 99-124 lbs.

WEIGHT GOALS:

Weigh in under 150: xx/xx/09
Weigh in under 140: xx/xx/09
To weigh less than the fiance.
To be back in my “sexy zone” of 133 and under.
To be less than 20 pounds overweight (less than 131).
To weigh in under 130: xx/xx/09
To be in my WW healthy weight range of 99-124.
To be within 10 pounds of goal (121).
To be back in “the teens” – under 120.
To reach my WW goal - 111 by 06/30/09 it takes as long as it takes, it's a lifetime change...

DAILY ACTIVITIES THAT I FOCUS ON:
- Focus daily on my goals and the DAILY actions that will get me there.
- Blog and/or participate at BTL at least three times a week.

MY EXERCISE GOALS:
- Begin and finish C25K program. (Jan 8/09, took 11 weeks... go me!!!)
- Run 3 miles (30 minutes) and do 30 minutes of aerobics 3 times a week.
- Run a 5K race.
-Do 1 pull up.

Four Weeks On Program

And feeling in control is a wonderful thing! I know, I've been MIA, but silly as it sounds, I needed a few weeks under my belt before I could honestly say things were going well.

Although I gained 0.8 this week, I'd lost 6 over the previous three weeks, and the eating is under control, I'm sticking to my calories/sugars/carbs/fiber requirements for the day pretty closely, and finding the commitment to the sugar grams is the thing that makes me turn away from snacking quite often.

Three Days OP So Far... And a 2.6 Loss For This Week

Well, I haven't posted here for a bit, because frankly, I was so darn frustrated by where I was, almost following the plan, and playing with the same couple of pounds week to week, and so darn tired of hearing myself say "this time I'm going to do it", that I just needed to shut up for a few weeks and figure things out.

Day 3

Did my C25K today and NMTZ as well... Go me!

I can feel both becoming easier already, can't wait to see where I'm at come Day 30!!

Today's food went well, I'm at 24 points, which is just fine. We're going to a movie tonight, I'm going to skip the candy as I want to stay in range.

I am determined to keep this going and turn it into a serious winning streak!

Onwards!!!

Day 2

I ran W2D2 of C25K this morning, and just completed Jillian Michaels' NMTZ... Second day in a row!

It's my future SIL's birthday today and we're going to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner... scary, scary place! However, I spent time this morning researching the menu and I'm going to have their Luau Chicken Salad, and get their weight management mustard vinaigrette dressing on the side and have them hold the won tons, macadamias and sesame seeds. Go me!!

Got up this morning, put on my running gear, had a cup of coffee and went out and did my C25K!!! Go me! I feel great!

I'd asked the fiance last night to kick my butt out of the house this morning for my run, and making myself accountable to it seemed to do the trick!

Proud of me!

AND... it's now 5:32pm, and I just finished doing Jillian Michaels' "No More Trouble Zones".... phew... I feel great, like I really worked my body... and I've told the fiance I want to do it all over again tomorrow!… Continue

I'm fantabulous! I'm doing everything one day at a time and just keep staying in the game. I'm starting to love the challenge. I'm turning down stuff left and right. I can't seem to stop saying 'no' when before all i could do was say 'yes! yes! yes!' So I feel incredible ;D And I'm sorry about your dad. Hopefully your positive energy will cheer him up :)

OMG I agree! All you have to do is be sensible and do what's necessary and not restrict yourself so much, because just like you it's working for me! Who knew? I don't exercise as much as I used to on my former plan or eat as strict but I'm still losing and enjoying myself. Feels good! And I believe in the same thing: We are each significant in this world and put here to make a difference, no matter how big or small. I also believe that each person in their own way affects the rest of the world like the butterfly effect. For every person we lose, the world changes significantly than if they had been alive one more day--whether we realize it or not. So my purpose is to employ that power and make small affects to everyones life whether it be a small hello or smile to a stranger. Like a ripple, that kindness passes on to the next. So I've got only one thing to say : You're beautiful dah-lin! Stay sweet and commited!!!
