YOU ROCK! I SO wished I would have taken measurements when I had started! If nothing else I should do it now, since I still have a ways to go! Thanks for the motivation!

I am doing swell! And yourself, little lady? Did you have a good time at Jordan's award ceremony? She is one smart cookie that daughter of yours! You must be so proud. What are her plans for after high school?

Thanks for the comment you left me, it is nice to be back! I am sorry about you losing your job, that totally sucks but I firmly believe that things happen for a reason :)
Yes, we can and will do this. I too have to lose about 10 lbs so let's do it one lb at a time.
Thanks again, I missed you :)

About Me:

Photobucket Hi! My name is Robyn and I am 44 years old. I am married (almost 19 years) and have two beautiful kids! A 16 year old daughter and a 14 year old son!

I've battled my weight all of my life and have made a decision that THIS is the year that all changes. Mostly because I want to be HEALTHY! In August of 2007 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and underwent a unilateral mastectomy of my left breast. I also had reconstruction surgery at the same time. I am happy to report that I am hereby cancer-free!

I had a TRAM free-flap procedure where my Doctor created my new breast out of my tummy tissue! Believe me, he had plenty of that work with! The added benefit of a tummy tuck was nice...but now its time to get the REST of my body into shape.

I've never been a "small" girl! In fact, I think I when I was younger I went from 99 to 160 lbs. overnight? lol I don't remember ever weighing less than 160 even when I was in high school!

As far as diets go.....you name it, I've done it. I've been a Weight Watcher member at least 4 times. I've tried Atkins, Nutrisystem, Slimfast...etc. I also did Phen Phen back in the early 90's for about 3-4 months. I lost 34 lbs (down to 157) and was completely happy at that weight. I also maintained it for almost 3 years. Then when I switched to a desk job...the weight slowly crept back on. Now..after years and years of yo-yo dieting I've reached my all-time high! A couple weeks ago I was at 203.5....but this morning I weighed in at 198.

This picture below was taken in April of 2005...when I was probably at my lowest in many years! (173 lbs.) At the time I thought I was WAY fat...but looking back now, I really wasn't that bad! Look how much thinner my cheeks are! Sheesh!
