About Me:
I am 38 and struggling to give back 50 pounds...I'm a tall women (5'11) I've always been 160-170..then i shot up to 190...no babies to blame...worked my way back to 170 and was feeling ok, but something happend and I shot all the way to 224. I wish i knew what my deal is...I have a desk job that could be part of it... I was feeling so down and hopeless...I was lost. I did not think I could ever lose. I dropped 19lbs with ww attending meetings. I dropped the meetings, but kept the web tool. I know I have gained some back, but I realized that weight loss is no longer my goal and health is...it does not matter if after a week I have not loss anything. hell it does not matter if after 6 weeks I have not loss, b/c the goal is health. So many times i have given up b/c my diet and work out did not produce the loss I expected. Now, i am working on being stronger and healthier...walking everyday (sunny and I are going bike ridding today), so I am sure the weight will come off, but i don't know when and more importantly...i don't care. I am loving me today! I also sent back some pants I bought 14L and replace with 16L. I have a closet full of beautiful pants I am "working to get in". I need pants now to reward the work I am doing now. I deserve to look nice at work. If I have to spend money to take them in later...I will gladly do so. I am sick of punishing myself for not being some other version of myself

5/15/08 216lbs (+7 from last ww weigh in)

30min 3.4/29 mins 3.0 and 1 min run 5.0

Hi! Howz life? Hope all is well. Meant to tell you that I did the hand and foot print awhile back... the foot was simple, but getting Henry to unclench his hand so I could get a print was more difficult! We ended up getting a nice handprint, but it took a few tries :~)

How is your mom?

We should definitely meet for a walk, or at least a visit. You can stop by anytime! Next weekend Jim's parents are here, but the following weekend would be fine, or you could stop by after work some evening...

So how is week 5 going? I thought about you on Sunday. I had to run 2.5 miles and the last half mile was tough for some reason. I thought about you being on week 5 and about how tough it was for me. That was helped me to remember I am stronger than I ever give myself credit for. It may sound weird, but I thought if I could pull through my run than maybe that would help you find your inner strength to finish week 5.

Week 5 is a hard one. I remember that I totally pysched myself out of day 3. Keep pushing, you can do it. Be sure to let me know how it goes. There is such a great feeling of accomplishment that comes with finishing this week.

Hi! Just checking in. How are things? I have been having some blood pressure issues, so I have had to have further testing and I am on modified bedrest (can work from home). ick... but everything seems to be stabilized, so the docs are not too worried. Guess it will just be like this for the next few weeks, until Henry is ready to come out!

Hey pamela. I started running because it is such a good cardio for burning lots of calories. I think I also picked running because I did cross country for a year way back in high school. I love running now but sometimes I do everything I can think of to try and talk myself out of going, but once I do go I usually enjoy it ( somedays I just don't feel it). Lots of luck to you.
