Update and health problems

Hi everyone!

For those of you wondering where I disappeared since May, here's an update.

I spent the first 2 weeks of May apartment hunting alone, while my boyfriend worked, and I revisited a couple of them with him. We moved in our new apartment on May 23, so the rest of May and beginning of June was spent packing and unpacking. Overall lost: 6.8 lbs
Body fat: 37.6%

One positive point to being sick: I'm never hungry and I'm not eating out of pleasure since I can't taste a thing. Aside for an occasionally more substantial breakfast, I've being living off soup and warm water with honey and lemon for the past three days. Too much stuff going on

Hi everyone!

I haven't bloged much lately, thanks to the finals and a busy social schedule, and I probably won't be blogging much more in the days or weeks to come. I'm going back to work at an immunology lab next week for my 4th summer, but this week I'm busy searching for a new apartment. We weren't planning on moving this summer, but the landlords are renovating the whole building (which was expected) and two days ago only told us the prices for the apartments after the renovations: way out… Continue

Total lost so far: 8.2 lbs

For a healthy BMI: I should be between 125 lbs (yikes!) and 165 lbs.

Lose first 10 lbs (220 lbs - pre-Christmas weight!)
Lose first 10 % (207 lbs - my weight about 2 years ago)
Get under 200 lbs (and out of 'obese' BMI!)
2nd 10% (186 lbs - my weight when I left home 5 years ago)
Average BF% under 33%
3rd 10% (167 lbs)
Healthy BMI (165 lbs)
4th 10% and goal weight (150 lbs)

It had better not be a white Easter! It's supposed to warm up a lot over the next couple days (here at least) so I'm sure the snow will be gone in no time!

Yeah, you get the same points for your weight/age/height. The difference is instead of fat, you count saturated fat but you don't get the fiber bonus. The formula is Points = calories/66 + sat fat/4.12.

I've never really compared it points wise to the US version, but I like that it encourages limiting saturated fat instead of total fat.

Hi! I'm Nath. I don't like About Me's, cuz how can I sum up who I am in only a few lines? I'm complex. I'm a human being.

Well I guess I can always start with the usual stuff. I'm 22. Tall, blond, deep blue eyes. I'm half way through my B. Sc. in biology. I always wondered why we think our job defines who we are. I have tones of interests other than biology but I had to make a choice. I live with my boyfriend in a small apartment undergoing a lot of repairs and renovations. I'm very friendly. I listen more than I talk. I'm told I give good advice. I always end up being my friends' psychiatrist (even the ones I don't know very well). Somehow I don't listen to my advice when it comes to myself. I'm usually an optimistic, but I'm more of a realist than a dreamer. I love to read. I love to write. I love to draw or paint. I love to cook. If I get bored of working in a lab I'll open a restaurant. I don't like bridges. I never trusted them. Not many people scare me. I don't judge people, but my gut feeling almost always turns out true. I'm bilingual but I use my French more than my English so feel free to correct me if I make mistakes.
