About Me:
Hello. I am a wife and a mother of two ~ my son is 15 and my daughter is 8 ~ who works full time in the finance department of a government contracted company. I sure have had my share of bad news over the past year but currently all in all things are looking pretty darn good in my life and I can not even begin to tell you how wonderful it feels to finally be able to say that for a change.

I have successfully lost weight in the past by following the Weight Watchers Momentum plan, exercising regularly, and blogging here faithfully on a daily basis. Throughout the past year, as life took it's twists and turns, I slowly got away from each one of those things. Needless to say I have put on most of the weight that I had worked so hard to take off. I really feel ready to address the weight gain now so I figure why not do what I know works! I plan on going back to following the Momentum plan, adding back that exercise, and of course blogging here more often than never.

I decided to rename my blog "Treating Every Day Like Day One" which is what I started out with way back in the day. I just feel like whenever you start a new plan it is so easy to stay on track for the first day but as the days go on it becomes more and more difficult. I like to try and treat every day like day one. :)

Take Out Troubles...

Very Interesting...

Looks like the issues I was having with my blog yesterday had to do with my internet browser (I always use internet explorer). This morning I tried using mozilla firefox and everything seems to be working fine now. So thanks for everyone's suggestions and for commenting away the past few days even though I couldn't comment on any of your posts and I couldn't approve your comments until today!

A Weigh In And A Complaint

But thankfully, not a complaint about the weigh in. I was down three pounds this week which is very exciting for me. It has been many months since I have seen that number on the scale go down.

Kind Of The Same As Yesterday

Meaning that I successfully got out of bed, got the workout clothes on, and did a three mile workout with seven pound weights instead of snuggling up to the husband. Which, by the way, is what I really wanted to do because I had again slept later than I had planned and would not have enough time to do the original workout I had planned. Even Though I Didn't Want To...

I got up out of bed this morning and made myself do a two mile workout with seven pound weights. I was initially planning on doing a four mile workout, but slept too late. When I finally did wake up I totally resisted the urge to say that because I couldn't fit in all four miles today I might as well not workout at all.
