Thanks for the post... you are not alone. I have essentially fallen off the bandwagon this month in a very bad way. Such a struggle: weight loss, weight maintenance, sane eating. But, we will get there!

November recap

The proverbial Monday morning and tomorrow is the beginning of a new month. November was a disaster, but the last day is going to be a success. Today is an opportunity to start fresh with a clear mind and a clear focus. November began on shaky ground and descended into a sugar haze, but I am regrouping and I will claim success for the month of December.

From Meh, to Blah, to Ugh :(

My last blog post was November 8 - exactly three weeks ago. During these past three weeks, I went on a sugar bender and went into hiding from healthy eating, exercising and blogging.

There were days when vegetables, fruit and lean protein didn't make it to my consiciousness, let alone my plate. Exercise Plans: November 9-13, 2009

I purchased a gym membership in October, and there is no way that I am going to pay for something and not use it. I have far too many unused gym memberships from the past - I am not interested in adding to that collection. Sadly though, my exercise routine has taken a bit of a beating this past couple of weeks and I need to get back in the game.

Thanks Liz for the comment! Weekends just drive me crazy. You said something that I am definitely going to try and that is to not look at weekend meals as a treat since I know I will be eating out anyway. I do ten to look at the weekend meals as my "free" time but then one meal turns into two, which turns into three which ends up being the whole weekend! Thanks for the support and ideas!

Hi Liz! Thank you so much for your comment on my post seeking support. You helped me remember that baby steps got me into exercise and all I have to do is take those baby steps again to get back in. You are absolutely right--this time needs to be different and the first step toward making it different is to start back on the baby steps with exercise and not give up! Thanks again!
