About Me:
Like Roni, I have had my ups and downs when it comes to weight loss. I had a pivotal moment after returning home from a girls night (aka junk food binge session) feeling sick to my stomach. I realized that I needed a change and I needed it soon! Ever since then I completely changed my lifestyle. I joined the YMCA in my area and began working out 4-6 days a week. I also started to be very aware of what I was eating. I was never overweight when I began this new lifestyle, I just wanted to tone-up, lose a few pounds, and be a healthier girl! Well this goal turned into an obsession that took over my life and my thoughts. Although I have calmed down quite a bit, I still struggle with letting myself enjoy life without being so wrapped up with my caloric intake. These mental struggles along with being a college freshman inspired me to join this blog! I hope that this will encourage me to continue my healthy lifestyle in my new environment, while also reminding me that life is way to short to obsess about anything! (healthy or not!)

Thanksgiving Break!

I am back home now for Thanksgiving Break! It is going to be an entire week of relaxing, eating, and spending time with the ones that I love! I am so excited! Rain Rain..Go Away?

Another rainy day here in Auburn! But for the first time in awhile it did not lower my motivation to workout! I decided to work out before class today, so I left my running shoes and sports bra by my desk so it would be the first thing I saw when I woke up! Over Indulgence

I had a wonderful, but indulgent, weekend! It was a wonderful time to hang out with my family, have a wonderful dinner with friends, and simply relax, but I know it wasn't the healthiest few days of my life. Thanks Lindsey! I havent really been on either. Ive been reading, but not posting. Im doing pretty good. I havent been weighing myself and Im eating healthy. Im coming up on one year in maintenance which is good for me. Ive never maintained this long. I went to Ca last week with my family and had a blast at Disneyland and didnt binge so thats good. We celebrated my little girls second birthday on halloween! Weve just been having a lot of fun. My counceling is going great. I go tommorrow and I feel like Ive had some break throughs. Anyways. how are you doing?
