I can't believe it. I jumped on the scale and I'm 224.5. That's a 5.5 lb loss!! Which leaves 4.5 to get to my mini goal. Now I know this is mostly water, but it's so motivating to see the number go down instead of up. I'm off to the treadmill.

About Me:
Hi. I found this blog and thought....Wow, maybe this could help me get off my rump and start moving. I want to be able to log in and say I've exercised this 5 times this week.

So, today I'm fat & a couch potato. Tomorrow, I'll move more to be a little less fat. And soon I'll be energetic, healthy, with clothes to die for.

Current Weight: 230 lbs
Goal Weight: 150 lbs

Mini Goal: Get to 220 by June 8th. That’s a goal loss of 2 lbs. a week.
Plan of Choice:
Low Fat, High Fiber, Other
Workout Philosophy:
I loath exercice, I'm new to exercise

Day 1. I actually went to the gym

So proud of myself. Mid morning I went to the gym. Yay me! Started with a warm up on the elliptical for about 10 minutes then onto the treadmill. About 2 years ago I started jogging and surprisingly I enjoyed it. So, I'm trying to back on track. I'm following a 6 week plan that gets you to run 3 miles. Did I say 3 miles? So, right now it's...1 min run / 3 min walk, four times. (Okay, this should be 7x, but it's my first day, give me a break.) Then I continued to walk for another 15 minutes.
