For those of us who need cheap ideas on low fat / diet foods. Doesn't it seem like all the healthy foods are the most expensive? Let's share tips, coupons, sales, etc.

Profile Information

About Me:
OK, see below for my statement one YEAR ago. And I have had progress and let it slip away so here is my new statement.

"I am 27 years old now. Late twenties, almost 30, wow time flies. 10 year highschool reunion is next year! I am planning on doing things different this time. I am not going to count points anymore, I started this week counting calories. I know it's similar in a lot of ways but it is new to me, and a fresh start. Time isn't going to slow down. I want to feel sexy! I want to love my body and not HATE it."

I am 26 and finally realizing, "Hey, you're not a kid anymore." I want to take control of my life and adopt a healthy lifestyle. I want to LIVE healthy. I would love to have confidence and fit in my jeans again!

"Results:

Based on your height, your ideal weight range is between 108 and 121 pounds.

According to the information you have entered, your weight may be above your ideal weight range."
Plan of Choice:
Low Fat, High Fiber
Workout Philosophy:
I'm new to exercise

Sacramento Blog2Losers?

I consistently fail when it comes to the weekend. So many family gatherings, eating out, and oh boy, DRINKING. Even worse, I am furloughed on Fridays so I have 3 day weekends now which only makes things worse. Jeez. I feel like I am on the cusp of an illness and a huge storm (first one of the season) is about to start tonight. Hope I am not getting sick. Although, the plus side to getting sick (as horrible as this is going to sound) is not having to go to work and losing a couple pounds. Yes, I… Continue

Wii Fit Weigh-in, 31 days later.

OKKKKK. So far, so good, this week is going well. This new calorie counting business, is working out. Monday, check. Tuesday, check. Wednesday, so far, so good. I bought batteries for my Wii Fit yesterday and did my official weigh in and I am exactly on the dot the same weight as when I weighed in 31 days ago. Strange. I don’t know if it is my self image that continues to drop but I SWEAR I look a lot heavier than before. My weight goes directly to my belly. I gross myself out. I feel so gross a… Continue

Another year. Another YEAR! AHHHH!

It is now another year later and I am now officially in my late twenties. To give myself a new start and a fresh look at my health, I am counting calories instead of WW points, which I have done for years. I think counting calories will give me a new excitement and interest in dieting. Instead of the same old boring points nonsense. This year was a pretty big yo-yo. I feel even more pathetic because the weight I need to lose is relatively small compared some of the challenges my fellow bloggers… Continue

Support Needed: I need to snap the hell out of this.

So perhaps weighing in this morning wouldn’t have broken my heart so much if it hadn’t been for the Round Table Pizza last night. Arg, I can’t really blame my boyfriend who ordered it, I have to be strong enough to say no and make the right decisions for myself. I am so f*cking frustrated. Why on earth can’t I get it together! Each time I weigh in, look in the mirror, get dressed, go out, etc. I feel unattractive, self-conscious, and unhappy. So basically, this is something I think about all day… Continue

Breaking News: I Love Food!

OK, so there is nothing breaking about that headline. I am going to weigh myself tomorrow morning, I am nervous about the news. My week wasn’t 100%. Not even close. Although I have been making baby steps in the right direction. Baby steps is better than NO steps, right? I only have a month until Vegas. I don’t want to be ashamed of myself there. So I have been blogging about how one of my big problems when watching my calories is drinking. Empty calories in beers and cocktails. Being tipsy also… Continue

I'm glad it helped! It's gotta be one day at a time, otherwise its such a daunting task! Best choices for the moment, and those moments add up to hours, days, weeks, months, then years... the short term eventually turns into the long term!

Hey, I'm out in Elk Grove! I'm putting this site out at my weight watcher meetings so maybe more of us will be on. Good luck at the Run to Feed the Hungry...it will be so crowded you'll be forced to go slow.

Thanks for the comment. We ended up using the whole package of sausage, making a meal for 4. But we had left overs. I sauted squash, zucchini, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion, mushrooms and spinach in a little evoo. Then I added a can of italian diced tomatoes, some garlic salt and some italian seasoning. We served it over pasta with the sausage and a sprinkle of parmesan. I ended up counting 10 points for my serving, but I had the point left to spare so it worked out well and I got lots of yummy veggies.

I am so glad I was able to help you find something new rather then the Wii Fit. I am getting bored with the Wii fit too, it just doesnt do anything for me anymore....I hope they come out with more games soon!!!!!! Exercise sure isnt cheap, if im not investing in stuff for a Wii its a new bike, gym membership etc...haha
