Didn't make it to the gym today and it was an upper body day so I didn't have the weights at home to do it. I know it's an excuse but hopefully I don't have too many of them.

Good advice from Trainer Pete

haven't blogged in a while so I might as well give 2. As some of you know I have been on Pete Samberg's Lean & Mean in 15 program. He blogs several topics to participants that get us thinking and I thought this one was great so I cut and paste it here below:

From Trainer Pete on Facebook: The average person gains 5-10lbs from T-Day to New Years....the average person also keeps half that weight on throughout the year...after a few years you could be carrying 20-30 extra lbs. !!!!! Moral of t… Continue

Hello again

I haven't been blogging every day as I did before but I have stayed on my workout program and things are still going great. I was able to make it through the holidays without gaining weight (despite my food and beer intake) It feels good not to worry whether I'm going to yo-yo.

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving and is doing well in their various challenges

30 Days of Lean & Mean in 15.... How'd I do? Results show

Well, I completed my 30 days of Lean & Mean in 15. I committed to not missing any workouts and increasing my intensity to build towards getting in the best shape of my life and staying there. It was my goal to show myself and to non believers that by working out only 20 minutes 5 days per week on Trainer Pete's program, I could maximize my results and use these scientifically backed workouts to shed body fat and build lean muscle.

Here is me at my worst, I was 190 lbs and on the wrong track… Continue

Day 27 - Lean & Mean in 15 *IMPORTANT MESSAGE AT THE BOTTOM

wawaweewa, I did not see today's workout coming and it kicked my butt. After last week's core workouts and effortlessly doing planks I thought I was really something. Until today's workout. It was a core day that can more accurately be described as an assault on my abs. I struggled to get through 3 sets and at times, i had to settle for hold my muscles in a contracted position because I could no longer do more crunches or leg-ins. At day 27 to be surprised like this is great, it proves that I am… Continue

Hi Boston,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. It was a combination of getting off some bad meds (for HBP), cutting out extra sugar, and eating my high fiber cookied instead, and starting to exercise more as my back is getting better. Its a perfect storm of good things happening!
Best Regards,
Judy
