Way to go! Im glad you are finding exercise fun, sometimes its all in how you approach it. Some days I find myself say Kate you loveee exercise, just to pep myself up! Have a great start to your week :)

Me too!!! Every time I think I am going to lose a lot of weight I lose nothing…but the next week when I feel like I have lost nothing I will have lost weight….Such a mental game! I just wish the weight would come off faster that would keep us all motivated.
It rained a lot yesterday so I didn’t go riding, but I did walk my dogs so I am happy that I got some exercise in.

I didn't do much this weekend - lots of homework! It's been flipping snowing all weekend (it's April, right? haha) so I didn't get to exercise outside unfortunately.

I'm not entirely sure what it is that is wrong with my knees. Almost every woman on my mom's side of my family has bad knees. My mom does, my grandma does, my sisters both do too.

I have gone to doctors and had x rays done and they say they see nothing in particular that is wrong with my knees themselves. They also said that if it was the early onset of arthritis that it wouldn't show up on an x ray for a few years until it had really built up so if I do have arthritis I will just have to suffer the pain and not really know whether it is or isn't arthritis for a few years yet.

Running, excessive amounts of walking, even standing for long periods of time gives me pain for days afterwards. It didn't help that for a while I was really overweight and that put extra pressure on my joints. Now that I've lost about 35 lbs. I can do a lot more than I used to be able to do but now I am actually within what is classified as a healthy weight for my height and I still have knee problems so right now it's a mystery what is the root of the problem.

Weight Watchers Week Five

I lost 1 lb this week, down to 248 lbs with a weight watchers loss of 14.5 lbs so far and a total loss of 31 overall !! It was a good week last week, managed to get a few exercise sessions in and kept within my points. Since Monday its been really good. My new job keeps me busy, I'm doing an average of 10000 steps in work alone,so hopefully with 5 or 6 added exercise sessions, next Monday will show good results !!

Weight Watchers Week Four ..... Wahay!!!!

Last night was weigh in night and the scale said 249lbs. I lost ........ 4.5lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so so so so thrilled! I've lost 13.5 lbs on weight watchers so far and a total of 30 lbs since Christmas !!! This totally makes up for not losing last week.

Is walking enough?

Last week I used my pedometer and walked a total of 26 miles, 9 of these on Saturday. But when it came to the weight watchers meeting I didntt lose a thing. Now dont get me wrong I'm really grateful I didnt put any on, but I thought I'd lose something, even 0.5 lb I'd have have been delighted with. So after much deliberation I've decided to vary my activities in the hope that the scale will be kind on Monday.

Weight Watchers Week 3

My weigh in was Monday night and I stayed the same. So I'm still 253.5 lbs. A total loss of 25.5 lbs since Christmas and 9 lbs since I started WW.

I was a bit gutted to remain the same this week because I stayed within my points all week, even with 2 points to spare! I also walked loads, walked over 9 miles on Saturday ( the tall ships were in Belfast and traffic was mad so we ditched the car and used the train. I'm back !!!!

I have been missing in action for 4 months but I'm back now and ready to lose all my unwanted pounds ....... for good. None of this losing 2, putting on 1, losing 1, putting on 2 business!! It's serious this time. Okay enough of my rant!
