Hi Kay ....Cool beans lol ...yes I will definitley keep in touch with you. I find that the combination of keeping in touch with all of my WW friends, blogging on WW and here help me a WHOLE LOT! The day I stopped all that at the first of the summer is how I gained 30 lbs. back so I won't be doing that one again ...EVER :) I hope you have a wonderful Friday and a great OP day :)

I am glad that I am finally back in WW mode and I am soooo hoping that this is the last time I will have to start over.
Congrats on your weight loss ...that is AWESOME!! Today is my first day back on program and so far soooo good. My problem is snacking but now that I am back in the classroom I don't have access to the kitchen so this is a good thing! Thanks for checking up on me ....unfortunatley I REALLY, REALLY have messed up and am just now coming back to BTL ....I have gained the weight I lost in the first place and am back at 364 :( Oh well at least I am back and I am NOT GIVING UP!!! That is when I will start worrying , when I don't come back. Hope things are going well for you.

I think that really rings true. Because to be honest, we are going to have our slip-ups, we're not perfect. We just need to know that we have to continue....something we will always do even when we hit the maintenance phase. But at least I think it beats the alternative - I'd rather make the sacrifices to have a healthy and happy life! And the feelings mutual - you are a great cheerleader, too! Weight Watcher meetings are great - I know I could not have done what I have done to date without them. It seems so basic, but I really do need it.

Kay, I know that you can do this. No one said losing weight is easy - but it gets a lot easier the longer you can ride the momentum. One choice (which you are making lots of by the way) turns into one more and them boom - 11lbs gone! You are doing it and I am so proud of you. I can't wait for the moment when you reflect and see just how much it all adds up to. The moment is now, if not now, you will look back and think why didn't I do it then. You are fantastic, you deserve to be healthy and happy - and that is exactly where this path is going to take you. xox

About Me:
Well, it has been months since I've been on here. I have to say that I have missed chatting with everyone, but to be honest, my head just hasn't been in it. Finally though I have jumped back in with both feet and many extra pounds. I've joined WW and am actually going to meetings (which I have come to realize is the key for me) and I've joined a local ladies gym. I know I've said this before, but I really do feel like this is my time because I don't have anything to distract me. I look forward to hearing from many of my old friends on here and finding out how well you've all been doing in my absence.

Shame on me!

Shame on me...I haven't blogged on here in a couple of weeks! I have been staying OP though and I usually blog on the WW website just because I'm already there keeping track of my point intake.

Anyway, things have been going good. I feel so much more energetic these days..which is certainly a nice change of pace. I made my 20lb goal!

I made my 20lb goal yesterday! WOOHOO! I lost a total of 2.4 when I WI yesterday (which brings me to 20.4lbs lost so far) and man am I feeling good! I still have three weeks to go before leave for the Keys, and I'm hoping to get close to 30lbs lost by then. I also set a new personal goal for myself yesterday. I want to be down 50lbs by Christmas. I can't believe it!

Wow...

When I WI yesterday, I had lost 4.2 bringing my loss to 18.2 pounds and I've only been OP for 5 weeks now! I was hoping for a 6 pound loss yesterday, but I will certainly take 4.2! I exercised everday since I WI last Wed. (the 19th) and I have been measuring everything carefully...I guess all that really made a big difference. I'll keep it up and hopefully I'll reach 20 by next week!

Staying on track...

I can't believe I forgot to post my loss for last week--or more accuratly--my non-loss. I didn't lose anything, but the good news is I didn't gain either which makes me happy. I was a little disappointed when she told me I didn't lose, but not really surprised since I had been pretty lax about measuring everything. My goal was to exercise everyday and measure everything for this week and so far I have done really well with both.

That nagging little voice inside my head is at work again...

It's one of those days where I woke up and felt depressed for no reason in particular. I feel as if I'm going to break down into tears at any moment and I'm trying to figure out if this could be TOM related.

The light bulb is on...

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed at first with the results of yesterday's WI. I lost 2.8, and for a split second I thought, WHAT THE HECK??? However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I'm not going to lose huge amounts of weight every single week and that slow and steady is the right way to lose it. Another loss...

I'm on the roof and I'm shouting...I lost 5.4 pounds my second week OP! Woo hoo! That's a total loss of 11.4 in two weeks! My cloths are starting to get loose on me once again and my energy level is up...Finally, I'm in control and not the food!
