6.1.2009 - My willpower is the worst.

Despite my promise to myself not three days ago, I had a super-grumpy day and ended up weighing myself. Thankfully, the news was good! I managed to slide in at 134.5--so it feels like I lost two weeks of time where I didn't drop any, but otherwise, no harm no foul. Also, I probably have more muscle mass now since I started the 30DS. Why is it that weekends are so hard? Just remember, when you're feeling grumpy at yourself, you need to consume 3500 extra calories to gain a pound on your body. That's, like, three chipotle burritos. If you can do that in a day, I'm pretty astounded.

So it looks like after my week off, I pretty much gained a pound. Dangit, sickness! You're supposed to make things easier, not harder. Lentil soup is helping a lot, though--there was a bunch of gunk stuck in my system. Blegh!

Thanks for the comment, Jo Foo. It's nice to hear a reminder that narcissists are not bad people, they just didn't get everything they needed as a child and punishing them is not the answer. They need empathy more than anything. It's tough when it's my mom but I'm getting there. I appreciate hearing a true life story.
