Every Thursday, I am going to add a new challenge to my list.
I am using this as motivation to lose 25 pounds in the next 11 weeks.

I am working hard to get back to easily running 5k. Right now it's tough. I was able to handle 5k no problem 5 weeks ago, but I have let things slide, and now it's tough again. But when things get tough, the tough get going.

Tough 30 days ahead

I joined the gym at work on Wednesday.

I have given myself a goal of working out at said gym 5 days a week for the next 30 days. I only signed up for a 30 day membership. If I can get into a grove where I am going daily, I will sign up for a 3 month membership. If that goes well, I'll extend to a 6 month, so on and so forth. A question for all the Southern Boys and Girls

Hi,

I have a question and it may be a bad one to ask on here, but this is the only place I know where I can reach so many people at once.

Anyway, I am looking for a traditional southern, or more specifically Texan dessert.

I am going to a Murder Mystery Party and it is to take place in a Honky Tonk Texan Bar. I have been asked to bring dessert, but I am not sure what to bring.

Weigh in moved to tomorrow

I was unable to weigh in this morning.
I lent my wii-motes to my nephew on the weekend, he had his 11th birthday party, and I forgot to bring them in from my car last night.
I'll bring them in tonight, and weigh in tomorrow. This was another not great week. I completely agree that September brings a more steady schedule. What kind of a dance class are you thinking? My sister and her husband do a ballroom class. They say it is great exercise and time together. We are still thinking about signing up. I am not sure what my schedule is going to look like at the moment. I had an interview with Curves this afternoon. They offered me the job. I am excited to start training on Monday. I will be working the 4-9pm shift M,W,F. So I will still be able to do the things I have been doing....except my Wednesday night sculp I am sad about that.

You are definitely heading in the right direction! 2.6lbs is an awesome loss! I weigh in before supper. Then I am heading out swimming after supper. I have a swimming buddy now (and she goes to ww with me), so that has helped me stay committed to it. Are you still swimming in the evenings?
