About Me:
I'm a 26 year old attorney in the Twin Cities. I used to be runner but recently gave it up do to leg injuries. I've been gaining and losing weight my entire life (what girl hasn't?) and am now trying to break the cycle.I've been a member of Weight Watchers since 2006 and have had some succes...and setbacks.

My sister introduced me to BTL. I love the motivation and support people give to one another; very inspirational.

It's been a long time...

So I took a break from blogging. Not purposefully, but I suppose on some level I knew I needed to focus. I needed to focus on doing the things that I vowed in my first few posts that I would do. Since the last time I posted I've taken several steps in the right direction:

New WI day

With much thought, and some renewed motivation, I have decided the best way to keep myself in check over the weekend is to switch my WI day to Monday mornings. This will prove to be the most challenging thing for me yet, but I am sure it will help. Theoretically I should lose weight no matter the day, especially if I am accurately tracking points. Here goes nothing...see you on Monday.

Does anyone out there currently WI on Monday? How has it worked for you in the past?

I weighed in exactly what I thought I would, which is fine. I expected it and now I am going to deal with it. My BF took my "before" pictures last night. They are not flattering to say the very least, but when are "before" pictures supposed to be. I won't post them until I have progress pictures. I'm thinking 10lbs. increments are the way to do it. Tomorrow is my first official WI since joining BTL. This is it.... I am expecting a certain number but don't know how I'll feel if it doesn't show up. I'm not in denial about how much I weigh, I get myself dressed every morning. I'm more overwhelmed at how far off track I've gotten. I guess all this means is that I can't get any heavier; my goal will never be as far away as it is tomorrow.
