About me

I believe in eating real food.

Current weight: 161.4 (according to ww). I've been lifting weights recently so I think quite a bit of that is muscle.

Goal: Between 128 and 140 pounds. I'm 5'9" so I don't want to be too skinny.

Timing goals: I usually get obsessed about making goals at certain times but that hasn't really worked to date. I'm now focused on giving my body what it needs. This doesn't include sugar.

That said, I like seeing progress so here are rough goals:

Oct 31: 157
Nov 30: 150
Dec 31: 145
Jan 31: 140

Goals for this week

Although I officially weigh in on Saturdays, my WW weeks start on Tuesdays.

Here are my goals for this week:
1) Do 5 workouts/7 days
2) Don't eat into my activity points unless necessary
3) Weigh in at less than 160 pounds. I was at 161.4 last Saturday. If it doesn't happen this weekend, I know it will happen next weekend.
4) Continue to take daily vitamins
5) Eat 5 veggies/day
6) Drink 100 oz water
7) Check in daily and tell everyone where I am on these goals

I'm not sure how they do it or how they figure this is what 10, 20, 30 lbs looks like but it's pretty cool nonetheless. They say it takes 48 hours, but it took about a week for me to get mine back.

Thanks Heidi! It has definitely taken me some time but the thing with weight watchers is that I am learning that I'm not going to just eat something if it doesn't taste good. It's simply not worth it...especially bad pizza. lol.

Hey there. Long story, short: it is a device that monitors the body closely and tells you how many calories you are burning in day. You then log your food and get your results for calorie surplus/deficit everyday. Deficits = a loss, simple as that!! Because of my crazy running schedule, WW was no longer working for me, but now I am learning how to eat more, lose more by fueling my workouts!
