Emily - 90% of people who keep the weight off are exercising regularly. I am willing to bet if you keep the exercise on track (no pun intended since I know you run) the food stuff will follow. Good luck with everything, congrads on the inches lost...

2 1/2 inches??? That's awesome! In the big scheme of things,weight is just a number...but inches lost is something much more real somehow. You can see it and you can feel it. Way to go!

So I did the 10k run today. Due to the fact that I callibrated my Nike+ yesterday, so my timing seemed to be slower than usual. Although I know that in all honesty, my pace was never really that fast to begin with! So at least I know where I am at...

About Me:
I am trying to lose the baby weight from three pregnancies. I have yet to lose all the weight from the first one five years ago! I I have recently started a low-glycemic diet and have so far been successful. I also started walking daily, which is tough for me, but I am hanging in there!
I have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful, supportive husband. I am currently a stay at home mom and full time student. At this point I am going for my associates in accounting and we'll see where it goes from there!

10k Human Race completed!

So I did the 10k run today. Due to the fact that I callibrated my Nike+ yesterday, so my timing seemed to be slower than usual. Just didn't know what to say I guess

It's been well over a week since I have posted, but I've been around, some. My classes started up last week and since I am going to be gone (on our cruise!!!) for a week, I am trying to get as much done ahead of time as possible. So life has been pretty hectic. Day 14 done

So I am back to doing the shred every other day again instead of daily. I am really ok with this because I really missed being able to run. It's not that I couldn't run after the shred, it's just that it was really tough. I want to be able to participate in a 10k on Oct 24th, and I need to keep my running up as well. Feeling a little...uncertain

Which is a little hard for me to admit. I don't know how I have gotten so far off track, without actually getting off track. I know that doesn't really make sense, but it does to me. Back in July I joined livestrong.com, which is a huge asset to me losing weight. Missed my morning runs!

So this morning I decided I wanted to run instead of doing the shred. I am still planning on doing the shred tonight after the Biggest Loser. So I hopped on the treadmill, without a real idea of how long or how far I wanted to go. I set my Nike+ to a Basic workout and just started running. Woohoo! Way to go! My last 10k was faster too...I finished in 1 hr 14 min. I was hoping for under 1:10 but breathing all that cold air was really hard on my lungs (I did mine really early)! The fastest time was like under 30 minutes!! CRAZY! Did you get you sync your run yet? I thought it was cool that they acknowledge it right away with an e-mail.

Wow! You certainly do have a lot going on. And the cruise is fast approaching!! Woohoo! You are exercising great self control to keep away from BTL procrastinating. Ssoooo in a slump on the exercise front which = a slump in weight loss. It's great that you are still pushing through the torture. I feel the exact same way. It's like overnight I hated everything related to physical activity. I'm in agreement on the COLD, WET, GLOOMY weather. I LOVED running outside and it's just not as comfortable anymore. But, as Jillian says "you have to get uncomfortable!" Good luck going strong on school and exercise. I'll kick my ass into gear yet. I should focus on that 10k on 10/24...that's only like 1 1/2 weeks away! YIKES!

Okay, now I have gotten so far off track. I haven't shredded since Wednesday night. I also have been eating rotten. I have nothing good to report. Except, that the landlord gave us the keys to the new place, and we are able to start moving stuff. Even though we don't technically take over till the 15th. So I spent most of today cleaning and moving little stuff. Plan to do the same thing tomorrow. I need to get back on track!!!
