I understand the wheat thing! I did Atkins, 7 years ago. It was ok, but I hated the fact that if you "slipped"up, you had to basically start over. I didn't like feeling sick for 2-3 days. I love the fast food and take out too! It really got me when I was working 24 hr shifts as an EMT for a private ambulance company. I really packed on the pounds! It's hard to pack a day's worth of food, especially if you don't know if you can get back to the fridge! Thank heavens those days are over. Well, at any rate, we are all in this together! I am turning 25 (oh my) in November. I just read your last post about motivation and how far you have come so far. Here is a quotation, from Roni, that really helps me see past the small hiccups in this journey: "You just have to remember what your goals are and what’s important to you". About Me:
Heres a little about my life story! I have moved around quite a bit because of my dad getting promotions and getting new jobs at different companies! I never really thought i was overweight until 6th grade, when my dad was transfered to Detroit michigan and my mom and my siblings and i stayed in cincinnati and saw my dad twice a month for 2.5 years, then after my freshman year of HS we moved to Charlotte NC. When i finished HS i stupidly went straight into college, at the university of Kansas! I regret that choice more then anything in my life!! I don't regret kansas, i really just regret not taking some time after college to try and figure some things out, like what i wanted to do with life> when i graduated HS i weight in at 199, by the time i finished my freshman year at KU i was topping the scales at about 230. By the time i hit my senior year at KU i was weighing in at 270. Then my brother got married in November 2007, and since then in one years time i have managed to put on 19 lbs. putting me at my highest of 289. After my parents feared for my life, they along with me decided it was time for me to come home and get my health under control, for the first month i was doing excellent, loosing a grand total of 21 lbs! since then i have lost an additional 21 lbs in 3 months. I"m very happy with where the speed the weight is coming off. I have another 88 lbs to go, to hit my goal of dropping 129 lbs! that is a lot of weight! that is a whole person. I'm excited for this journey and kind of nervous all at the same time!

Been MIA for a while

Discovery

MIA for a while

So I just realized it has been forever since I posted a blog, but this week has been very crazy to say the least!

impressive!

I am recommitting

I am totally recommitting I've had a few days of eating crap food and well I feel like crap and need to change! So I sat down today and figured out my strategy for the next 4 days mapping out everything from food and excercise! Going by the ww book it said I should be eating 31 points well I came up with 4 days with likely foods that I would want and each day was aroung 24 points for those on we how important is it to follow the number closely should I try to add in 7 more points or will I be ok… Continue
