weekends are the toughest

its friday. 5 days after my depressing monday weigh in. my workouts have looked like this:

monday: 26 minute run
tuesday: cardio x
wednesday: exercisetv 20 fat burning workout (a killer for only be 20 minutes long)
thursday: 25 minute run
and today: i'm hoping to get a yoga session in as well as a walk. my muscles are needing the stretch!

.well that was depressing.

i weighed in this morning. 182.4.

i feel like i've made healthier decisions this past week, but obviously that isn't enough.

i decided this morning that p90x really isn't for me. it will give me muscles, but its not getting rid of the fat. dane, he's still doing it, but i've started running and taking on other forms of cardio now. i'll join him on the cardio days...but getting ripped isn't my goal here. its losing weight.

into week 3

So i'm into week 3 of all of this and could really use some encouragement. i'm having such a hard time saying no to the sweets and fatty foods. they are my favorite (i'm sure there are very few people who would disagree with this statement).

week 1

the weigh in happened. i clocked in at 183.2 pounds. the most i've weighed since high school. this week workouts have been challenging...food has been tempting...and exhaustion has set in.

I'm proud of myself though, I think I might be getting better at my self control. Instead of having 5 cookies plus a muffin at coffeehouse last night i settled for one. Not denying myself but moderating myself. Moderation is the key!

the last day of being a loose cannon

when i woke up today, i thought to myself, today is the last day i'm going to wake up and feel fat and pathetic. why, cuz starting tomorrow i'm doing something about.

Yea, my weight was all over the place this week. Up 3 1/2 on Monday, then yesterday I was 1 1/2 lower than I was today. Weird. But I count my Thursday weight as my official weight. I should probably stop weighing myself so much throughout the week. But the Wii Fit is just too much fun NOT to weigh myself.
