There should be a collar that zaps you everytime you think of cheating. Someone should invent that. Hey, I bet that'd make millions....ooh, ooh I call 'Patent'!

I like Baskin Robbins sugar free hard candy. I eat them during church because that is always when I'm thinking about lunch. It helps keep me from getting so hungry that I'm tempted to go out to eat for lunch.

Also, I've been slipping myself veggies. Most of the time I've realized that you can add tomatoes or mushrooms and you won't even notice. I made scrambled eggs last night and added mushrooms to them. It really bulked them up.

Turkey pepperoni has really saved me. I keep them handy in the fridge, and I just get a handful when I'm feeling hungry.

I have found if i write in pencil the night before on my journal what i am going to eat the next day; if i change my mind when the time comes it is easy to make an exchange without messing up my journal and saying the heck with it.

One thing that I've recently discovered that seems to help me through the work day are dried apricots. I keep a package of them in my desk. 1 serving is 9 pieces and they are only 1 point per serving. When I feel the urge to "chew" I pull out 9 pieces and snack on them when I need something to chew. They have a lot of fiber in them and it is different than chewing gum. Does anyone else have any other ideas that are low in points for dried fruit?

So I started drinking this juice that cost me 37$! But it's really done wonders to my raging appitite. It's called Mona Vie... I drink it every morning.

Sugar- free gum and Water bottles every where: frig, purse and car. And to satisfy the crunch cravings pretzels ( usually unsalted-in my purse also) Always working to remember "portion control."

What great tips!

I always (always, always) keep a few sticks of SF gum on me- so when I'm cooking or making school lunches I'm not tempted to eat 'just one' Goldfish because I already have gum in my mouth.

When I'm baking, I go brush my teeth or gargle before the stuff comes out of the oven because it's in those moments that I'm most likely to cave into my sweet tooth, but if I know it'll taste gross at that moment, then I'm better able to resist and control my portion size later.

I no longer bring anything into the house that is bad. I keep bottled water in the fridge and healthy snacks stocked in the pantry. I buy fruit at least once a week and get my daughter in on the shopping as much as possible. We have found that going to the Farmer's Market is fun and we enjoy cooking together.

One of our favourite meals is Fijitas! So sometimes if I eat two, and still wanting more, I'll take all my favorite toppings (onion, tomato, olives, peppers) and a tsp of fat free sour cream and salsa, mix them in a bowl and eat it up! :)
