Are any of you Mama's still nursing? August 12th will be 17 months for us! My goal is two years, but I'm just leaving it up to my daughter.

Yea, my baby never took the bottle from me, it had to be someone else. Looks like your supply is great and you're able to pump a nice amount of BM! I'm pumping also when I can since I'll be going back to school in two weeks 2 days a week. We have only given the baby a bottle twice since he was born and that was about 2 monts ago. He took it, I hope he still remembers how :)

Are you going to pump at work? How old is your baby? I know some people do gain while BFing, but also, you can gradually decrease your calorie intake and see how your milk supply holds up. What helped me greatly is exercising regularly! I haven't been restricting too much my calories, except that I try to eat mindfully - veggies, fruits, and no junk or sweets. Also, getting in a min of 100 oz a day is crucial. I had suuply issues with my firstborn, it is so hard... There are also supplements you can take.

Hi, I'm glad I found this group. I'm BFing my 3 month old boy at the moment and trying to lose weight at the same time.

Laura- I totally applaud you for pumping for your daughter, that takes dedication! Nursing is great for us, I love it. I had a horrible time nursing my son, we only made it one month. With my daughter it's been pretty much problem free. I love the bonding.

Cynder- My daughter will be nine months on the 12th. How is nursing going for you?

Hi! it is going ok so far. My daughter is 2 weeks old today, and I just started pumping because I will be going back to work on December 1. I was shocked to see how little I was putting out! But, it has gotten to be more over time, so I think it is just going to take some time to get the supply up. How is it going for you?
