No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I'm surprised by how much answering these questions has helped me and made me really dig deep and find some answers. Even if you don't blog about them, I think answering them will help you.

1) Why are you overweight? (The real reasons, not the excuses)

2) Why do you want to lose weight?

3) Why have you been unable to maintain weight loss in the past?

You're right--it was really helpful. I was surprised, too, because I've been doing similar reflections/soul-searching, but I really liked how Bob's explanations eliminated a lot of the standard surface answers. I think I got closer to the heart of the matter this time around than ever before.

yeah, that was one of the things I liked too. Why are you overweight? well duh, I eat too much... but he means it in a different way, and that really made me think about it. For me, I realized that by letting the things people said to me in the past, even when I was thin, effect me now, I'm only granting them and their words more power by continuing to let it bother me. I have to take control and not hurt myself further by eating the wrong things.
