Welcome Jennie Rose. Hope school is going smoothly for everyone. My weigh-ins are NOT cooperating at all. Well, at least school is on schedule. :)

welcome terri to the group. That is an amazing situation the lord gave you, your now a seasoned vet homeschooler get to do it again :) This will be our first full year out of public school. Homeschooled then public school back to homeschool where I have no more doubts that is what the Lord is calling our family to do. I have a pre-k, K, 2nd grade and 6th grader this year. I homeshooled our oldest to 3rd grade, my next went into public at K with big brother and my third participated as a peer tutor in an Autistic preschool program at the public school. So I am excited this will be an excited learning year as I get to rediscover my middle two and get to know them in a deeper way i got to know my oldest homeschooling. I have missed my kids tremendously and look forward to what God has planned :)

Hi Everyone,

I homeschooled my oldest son all the way through school. He is now in college. Currently, I am homeschooling my youngest son who is getting ready to start 2nd grade. Yes, they are twelve years apart! lol Same husband, that's just how the Lord worked it. When my oldest was a senior in high school (homeschool), my other child was doing homeschool kinder. So I finished one and started another. LOL

My now college student never went to public school but made the transition to college just great. For me, it is a nice break to go from teaching Advanced algebra to now teaching simple addition again. lol

hi there, I am a home school mom to four. ages 2,4,7,and 12. I have home schooled from the beginning when public school failed my oldest in kindergarten. Moved to Vegas and had a hard time finding a home church and groups. No co-ops here like in Arizona. So my oldest and second child went into 3rd grade and kindergarten. It was a learning experience, let me see both sides and now it is time to bring my babies back home where they belong. My oldest is already withdrawn and going through the de-schooling process and my second will finish out 2nd grade and start de-schooling in June. I am very excited to have every one home again and to get our life back, no more living around the public school system and thier calender for us :) Look forward to interacting with other fellow home schooler's on btl.

This will be my first year homeschooling. I'm excited and scared at the same time. My boys are coming out of public school, going into 6th and 3rd grade, and my daughter will be working on Pre-K.
