I am getting ready to do my 5th day of the 30 day shred, and it is slowly getting a little better. When do most of you move up to level 2 after 7-10 days? That was kind of what I was thinking. I had lost 7lbs the first week but have just been going back and forth with 1lb. I guess I can't expect a miracle or overnight results.

In regards to Erin's post, I also have a bad lower back. I found that the 30DS did not affect my back (nor the other way around at all). Beginning in Level 2, there are several plank position exercises, especially the cardio ones, that I was concerned might aggravate my lower back, so I just do the modified versions of those. A step-touch move is definitely fine (the couple times I tried to push through and do the hops and jumps from that position, I had some discomfort). But I find the modifications are great--they are not too easy, but they do help you to take care of yourself. Good luck!

I'm sure plenty of you do this...but today I did level 1 and level 2, back to back. I'm kind of shaky right now from it. That was intense...but necessary. I had a fairly big breakfast and then had an affair with Taco Bell this afternoon (ate 17 points...and I only get 25 for the day with Weight Watchers). Glad I did it. I will likely do it again, and hopefully when I'm stronger a double set can be my normal workout!

Just finished 3rd day of the 30 day shred and it is getting a little easier, but is still very intense.

That sounds great. I am unable to do the work out 30 days in a due to the fact that I am nurse and work 12 hour shifts which gives me about a 15 hour day with driving, so I work out on the days I am off. I would love to loose 30lbs to start and a total of 50lbs.

I'm finished Day 9 of 30 in a row...doing it as a challenge. (see link in my comment below) Our challenge has been to do it together for 30 days in a row. (not that you would have to do it like that) I love it because it is quick! Who doesn't, right? ;) BUT it does pack a punch for sure! Definitely feels easier than Day 1 so try to stick with it if you can to anyone that is just trying it! Will report any major updates at the end of 30 days but I know at least 1 person who has dropped lbs. (not to say its only because of this) Personally I am using it to jumpstart some loss again after being at a standstill with my weight for some time now...wish me luck!

I just started the 30 day shred. I have only done the workout once so far. It really works you hard for only 20mins. I have used many other workouts before I am hoping to finally see results with this one. Any success stories or helpful tip from anyone?
