Looking forward to the new decade new me!!! I'm joining a challenge where the prize pool is $150,000 I hope I can help someone win. I won $10000 in 07 but I qant to stay focused so I'll reach for my goal and look for hororable mention!!!

Hi everyone! Congrats to all your weight loss! Two years ago I used to weigh 320 lbs, size 28, and was 22 years old just out of college. When I was in college I gained 124 lbs over the four years (all the partying, booze, and my sleep apnea). Now it's two years later I am 24 years old and I am in my 230s lbs. I have lost over 80 lbs and no longer have sleep apnea! I still have a ways to go until goal, but I wanted to share that if you reach a plateau you need to plow through it. I dropped 96 lbs my first year and a half of my journey, but gained 45 lbs back this past Spring 2009. Yikes! Anyways I broke my plateau and am continuing to lose. Good luck and I look forward to the support I can give to all of you!

Welcome to all the newbies! I have been away from here for a little while, but not from the weightloss. I just hit my one year anniversarry and have lost a total of 62 pounds so far!!! I'll be checking in more often with everyone...I'm a little less than half way to my goal!

Welcome Jennifer! You can do this and I'm glad that you found this group...very supportive! I am 5'5 and my start weight was 278 - just testimony that if I can do, anyone can really because I was in pretty bad shape when I started. (physically and emotionally) Hope I can support you along the way! :)

I have struggled most of my life with weight loss and now am at my highest weight. I am 5'6 and weigh 265 pounds. Being a single mom is hard enough and with being overweight I am unable to do the things I should be doing for my son. Its been a long battle and I am excited to try something new and meet new people. The hardest part for me is staying on track, slipping into emotional eating and feeling sorry for myself. That is something I am hoping to change not only for my health but for my sons sake as well
