I don't know if this is so much a find or just a life-saver but Yoplait Light Fat Free Yogurt and Yoplait Whips have been saving my diet recently. They are very tasty and a GREAT dessert substitute (especially at 100-140 calories each).
i used to eat a lot of yoplait lights....the yummo kind like cheesecake and whatnot. however, i have moved into a different part of my eating journey where now i look at not only the nutritional info, but the ingredients as well. one of the ingredients i found was high fructose corn syrup as well as aspartame. there are no definitive studies on aspartame, but i try to stay away from it....i also read a study on high fructose corn syrup, that it was placed w/ cancer cells in a petri dish and the cancer cells ate it up and multiplied like crazy. so i try to stay away from that too.
i am not trying to sway you. i went thru the yogurt phase too and it saved my butt MANY times. however, i think if you are journeying into eating healthier, then organic should be something you read up on....it makes a lot of sense.
however I am GLAD that you found something to help you along in your times of need.
That is disturbing. How are you taking high fructose corn syrup out of your diet? I feel like that is in A LOT of foods... Are you just going all organic?
