As my scale doesn't show anything worth bragging about (though I know that the scale isn't always the answer) and my last brag was a month ago, I reached two personal breakthroughs. One is distance: I went beyond 10k.
12.5k (7.7 miles) last Sunday (veeery slow, 100 mins+, 13:23 min/mile).
Today I broke through my time barrier: 8k (5 miles) in under an hour. Still not really fast, but it's huge for me doing an average pace of 11:44 min/mile!
So it's official: I'm doing my fastest runs in light rain and 62°F (17°C). Maybe I am a human motor that needs to be water-cooled. Happy remaining "Cinco de Mayo" by the way.
