Barb emailed me a GREAT idea! As I was pondering it I realized why not take advantage of the forums and ask what you guys think.
What do you guys think of a place on the Blog To Lose site reserved just for success stories?
Would it be motivating?
I'm thinking of adding a discussion room for them. People can post their stories and pictures in discussion. Each story would be a new discussion so what we would end up with is a board full of inspiring stores!

Love it, especially before and after pics - they're so inspiring. Admit it people, you open your shape, or fitness, or weight watchers magazine straight to the before and after stories!

I totally agree. Before/after pictures are always SO motivating for me! Although I'm not good about taking progress pictures of myself...maybe it will motivate me to take some! LOL

I think it's a fabulous idea! If the person could share a bit about their journey, and as much as it helps to hear about others journeys to succes, it's great to see the progression as well! And when you say reserved for success stories...as in reaching goal success?
Do it! I would love to be able to read success stories and especially to get their advice! Everyone has such different perspectives and tips on how to lose weight, so I think it would not only be inspiring, but helpful! But, how would success be determined? Would it be determined by someone meeting their own personal goals or would their be pre-established goals?
But I have to confess for Sarah: I don't read those magazine success stories first, but those are the pages that I fold-over and go back to read again and again!
I love this idea. I really like reading about what other people have been able to accomplish. It makes me realize that with some hard work, I'll get there too one day. :)
what is it about those before and after pics? They just make you go, THAT COULD BE ME! Plus, I would trust those pictures on here, compared to diet pill ads that look totally phony. Please do it, Roni!
