Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Hey ladies and guys!
Can someone please motivate me to exercise! I can't find it in me but I know if I don't do it tonight I'll stop altogether because I'm only at the start of a 30 day challenge and I slacked off yesterday...at day 4!!! so bad.
What do you guys do to motivate yourselves when you can't be bothered? Any tips/tricks? would reeeeaally appreciate it at the moment.

The ONLY thing that I'm finding to get me going is to do it first thing in the morning. If I procrastinate then it's over. I remind myself I will feel so much better if I do it now.. and even though I don't want to get out of bed I KNOW I won't regret it later.

It's hard at first then I find momentum takes over.

I love this saying: "Pain beats regret every day of the week and twice on Sunday".

Don't beat yourself up, it is tough to get going when you don't have the momentum behind you already. I ask myself what I really want. Do I really want to be proud of myself? Do I really want to look in the mirror and like what I see? Do I really want to feel happiness and joy? OR Do I really want to just sit on my ass and eat whatever I want whenever I want? For me, the answers are very clear. I just try to keep that stuff in my head always at the forefront of my mind so that those questions and answers drive every decision of every day. Beating yourself up about your slips or lull in motivation is only going to perpetuate the problem when what you really need to do is engage a solution. Best way to do that is with self care and POSITIVE SELF TALK. Seriously! Those have been key for me so far.

You CAN do this! And you WILL do it as soon as you decide that you CAN.
