No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Just a note about fitness magazines. I had a subscription to Shape & Fitness that ended early this year. I really looked forward to getting a new magazine in the mail and it seemed better than subscribing to Cosmo or US Weekly or something. When I had a little extra money a couple weeks ago I re-subscribed to Shape, Fitness, and Self magazine. I realized that having something positive to read would help to encourage my fitness and health goals. There are always some great recipes and ideas, I can’t wait to get the first one in the mail! I subscribed on Amazon.com and it was pretty cheap, $12-$15 a year for a subscription. Do you suggest any other magazines for me to check out? I suggest subscribing to one if you can. There is something nice about not reading from a computer screen every once in a while.

I love Prevention. It covers everything. Health, fitness, recipes...Self was always a fav of mine too but I am too cheap to subscribe to too many mags so I don't read it right now.

I really like oxygen Magazine but I love lifting weights and it has a lot of info for that. It also has alot of clean eating recipes too as does The Clean Eating Magazine. Those are my faves!

I know this post is old, but I am new to Blog to Lose and I am health magazine junkie so I had to comment! I LOVE Fitness Magazine. I think it has the perfect balance of fitness tips, healthy eating motivation, and just how to make simple healthy decisions in your everyday life. Some health magazines seem to have too much of one section and then I lose interest. I also like Shape! Just thought I would give you my opinion because I love health magazines!

I can't give any new magazines to read but I love, love, LOVE Shape magazine! I just renewed my subscription, actually. I love all the helpful tips, recipes, and workouts. It gives me SO MUCH motivation to stay healthy and workout! My mom has a subscription to Fitness magazine and it's a great one as well. Love them both!

I would also recommend Women's Health and Muscle and Fitness Hers.

I've never read Shape & Fitness before but now that I'm adopting my new lifestyle it sounds like it would be a good fit for me. Plus some of the other gossip rags probably aren't the best way to spend my time reading (even though I love People!) :)
