Comments / Friend Request Issues...?

Hello! I have gotten 2 friend requests that I have been notified via email. When I log in, there are no friends waiting for me ... anywhere ... that I can find. It is a very sad feeling! :(

Also, I have gotten one email saying that someone posted a comment on my page, and when I got to my page, there was no comment there, either? Is there some setting that I have messed with or need to turn on or something? The Ostricization Setting?

I'm ready to get to know y'all ... and I'm confused ...?

Hi Auburn! I haven't had that happen to me but I can see how that would be disconcerting. I just sent you a friend request-- did you get it? If you're still seeing the issue, you might want to check out Roni's help page here or the Ning Help Center, which she links to from her help pages.

It's likely that the friend requests are people who you've also requested and just automatically became your friends. I requested my cousin right after she requested me. When I went to go see who requested me, the inbox was empty. It was because I requested her instead of accepting her and the website just automatically recognized it as a mutual friend request. Or it's possible the person didn't mean to request you or the person requesting removed their profile soon after. I had 2 comments once and they didn't show. The profiles were no longer there so maybe that could be why.

I got the friend request! How weird that it didn't work before ... oh, well ... technology at its finest, right?
