Well I have been sticking to my daily points always to a T. Not ever going over, more like somtimes have a ton left over! Anywhere from 2-10 per day! Now I am allowed about 31 and that seems like quite a bit, but I don't have too much trouble eating them most days, but other days I don't eat many at all. I don't want to hinder myself by NOT eating them. I usually am just fine, and can't figure out how to use my weekly points. Maybe I should go out for a nice big dinner one day or something? Or have a beer every now and then? It's just I feel like I'm eating too much if I use them. Like I'm saving them "just in case". I don't wanna run into a day when I NEED them and not have them there you know? I weight in on Monday mornings... so maybe use them on the weekends... Hmmph. I have no idea. lol Any suggestions?
wow... so you have points left over from your daily points allowance (and not your flex points?)? I am pretty sure you are supposed to eat all of your allowance points and that flex points are optional. What are some of the things you are eating? Can you add protein to it to stack on a few of those "leftover" points? Say... an apple with peanut butter or cheese. Now instead of 2 points (for a large apple) you have used 6 points for an apple and some cheese.
hmmm... I don't know... I don't usually find myself in your situation! =o)

Hi Caitlin. I sometimes have a problem eating all of my points every day. BUT I know that part of the WW program is that you need to eat all of your points. For sure if you don't eat all your points for the day you can't carry them over to the next day or save them. You can only do that with your flexpoints.
When I get to the end of the day and I have some points left over I will usually have a slice of cheese or something non-carbohydrate.
Also, I would not fill up on your points right before weigh-in. If I were you and you wanted to use your flex points any day of the week I would do it on Monday or Tuesday. But thats just me. :-)
I drink tons of water and diet coke throughout the day as welll.. :S Who knows.. I just don't seem to always be able to eat all of them. And the flex points I kinda just worry eating them when I never know if I'll need them later, if that makes sense.. Lol. Who knowwwsss...
You could always add more fruit. You can never have too much fruit! Also I would go by how much you're losing each week to see how much you should be eating. I tend to change mine up depending upon the scale. I normally don't eat if I'm not hungry, but that's pretty rare.
I know what you mean about the daily points, I've been as much as 4 under my allotted amount. I just really can't see forcing myself to eat when I'm not hungry. I really believe some days my body needs less food than others, so I don't think you necessarily need to eat the EXACT same amount every day- even though I do know WW says to eat all your points. What I try to do with my flex points is just eat some if I'm still hungry at the end of the day. But it sounds like you never usually are. The other thing I do is have a yummy "real" dessert (desserts are SO many points) or go out to eat and have something good. I feel the same way about saving them in case you need them, mine start over on Sundays so a lot of times I try to save most (at least half) of them until Friday or Saturday when I know if I'll be needing them. I weigh in Mondays too and haven't seen a problem with the scale. Good luck!

I have heard on more than one occasion recently from my WW leader that you have to get all of your allowed daily points in because this is a scientific program. Not that you need me to sound like some WW crazy women. But just to let you know...some suggestions she had for people are: To have a glass of milk...even chocolate milk...having a slice of whole wheat bread, bagel anything...with a tbsp of peanut butter and some low fat/low sugar jam. Especially if you are working out - the toast with pb and jam would be great. Just bulk up some of the stuff you are eating. Have a banana with a tbsp of pb...my WW leader said you have to be careful because if you don't get your points in, your body might think you are going in to starvation mode and you won't lose weight.
Just some tips that I have heard lately at my meetings because people in the group have mentioned this. I am the one asking to borrow points from anyone!
Keep at it. It is not easy work, but having the support of an online community can help. You might also check to see if there are benefits from your Individual health insurance to joining a weight loss group. Some insurance companies will give you financial benefits from officially joining a group.
Are you following the good health guidelines in addition to counting your points? It doesn't look like you are getting your healthy oils and your fruits/veggies in. I think if you add in those things you'll be closer to your target points.
