I hate going places that say ' Bring a dish' because I never know what to take. Obviously I want to take something HEALTHY so that I have a good choice incase others bring garbage, but aside from that - what do you guys normally take?
A big fruit or veggie plate would be wonderful. They're easy and you can pile tons on your plate to keep you from eating too much unheatlhy food.
I always bring food for holidays. I've created my own healthy versions of hashbrown casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes and pie. See recipes here.

A month or so ago they had a Tex-Mex pitch in. I brought FF Sr. Crm and Low Carb wraps. That way I could do something with lettuce, tomato, salsa and sr. crm and not go crazy. I think somebody else brought chicken so that helped. It was kinda funny b/c everybody ate the low carb wraps instead ;) Even if somebody brought a meat tray you could make a sr. crm and turkey wrap. Yum! Veggies are great too. A simple humus peppers are pitch in friendly, too. Puree some chick peas, lemon, parley, red pepper and salt and bring different colored peppers to dip in it. Yum!! I think Roni has a recipe like that on her website somewhere. :)
