We sometimes have chicken burritos for breakfast - ww wrap with shredded cheese heated in ff salsa and ff cheese. Yummy. This is some fruit is one of my favourite breakfasts. We eat oatmeal most days but it does get boring.

Meatless Monday - Tortilla Pie

Today, I got a recommendation for Meatless Monday from a friend and co-worker Shelly. She recently became a vegetarian and had made this recently. She found the recipe on AllRecipes.com, a fantastic website that everyone should use.

An evening of guilt.....

Yes....it is sure to be one. I have somehow been able to avoid finding out who won this session's Biggest Loser. I am a big (har, har) fan....but was no able to watch the finale. I am settling this evening to watch it and be motivated - with a side of guilt. Yes, guilt because I have let my weight loss slide to the back burner.

A good day

I behaved. me! behaved LOL

I went to the gym this morning and did 2 circuits and 30 min on the treadmill. I puttered about at home today doing cleaning, taking down the tree, putting away decorations etc and going through bills.

I hit the gym again after supper (it's only 3 min away so not a commute issue) and did 20 on the treadmill and one circuit.

I steered clear of the christmas chocolates calling to me. I ate a decent amount of supper on a meal that I love to over indulge in.

Imagine That...

I did a five mile work this morning AND stayed within my daily points allowance for an entire day. This is something that I have been unable to do all year long and let me tell you that I'm feeling pretty good about myself right about now. I think I'll do it again tomorrow.

Skinny girl turned fat

I used to weigh 120 lbs, now I weigh 197. It was a big change for me but i've been living with it for 3 years now. After I had my son I tried several times to lose the weight, and I almost did it once. I got down to 174lbs and then slowly it started creeping back up to 200. As of january first, I'm starting again, and this time i won't stop. Keeping on...

Today was the first round of dress shopping for my maid-of-honor dress, so I made sure that I started the day off right. I got up early, ate a healthy breakfast, jogged/walked two miles (faster than yesterday!), and got kitted up prettily. I was full of good cheer when I headed out with my family to meet my sister (the bride) at the boutique.

Week Three of my "Finally get this Weight Off Me" plan

Uh, week three, not so good... way too much snacking... but, guess that is to be expected when you are on vacation during the holidays! We also ate out tons...I did manage to get to the grocery store and cook a meal or two everyday. Felt good about that! My in-laws are getting older and do not eat as much as they used to--I think maybe they have one big meal a day?! So, we kind of had to fend for ourselves. Ok, time to get serious, for real this time!

Ok, I really need to get back on track. After about three weeks of bad eating, little exercise and overall just being lazy I really need to get serious. Feel like a big blob and clothes are on the verge of getting tight! Tracking, high fiber, gym and taking the dog on walks! I can do this, now it's off to the gym for me!
